the villa was excellent. initially the shower hose was too short (I could not get my hair wet while standing up) and I reported it around 11 o'clock in the evening, and the next day when we came back from the beach the hose was replaced for a longer one !! and actually that was all we could say something about, because otherwise it was perfectly arranged.excellente service from Mrs. Sophia who was waiting for us on arrival, and several times she stopped by to ask if everything went to our sense was, and once treated us to wine and baklava, she speaks excellent English which makes communication very easy.The pool was cleaned almost every day, twice a week clean sheets, clean towels (2 per person) and the house was cleaned created.you can walk to the beach - you are walking for about 30 minutes, and you can also walk back (if you are used to walking a bit) there is not so much difference in height only at the start and end just sit there ee one climb in the hiking route. we have run it regularly to be sporting ... you get it nice and warm, but at the destination there is a lovely swimming pool to cool off! to reach the villa when you come from the highway then see you at strategic points signs with bali villa that take you to the villa (search on google maps for Kostis villa - the google maps marker that you get from belvilla is wrong) we contacted Bali Villas a week in advance and got immediately an answer with route information.On the last day we were allowed to stay as long as we wanted, because he was not rented that day, so we could stay until 4 o'clock in the afternoon without any additional costs.all in all a very successful holiday and a lovely holiday home, we were early in the season (last week of May and first week of June), and so most of the time the other villas around us were not rented out and so

A very nice house in a beautiful environment with a super nice hostess. We have been there for 9 days with 5 people (of which 2 couples). On arrival the hostess had provided some goodies. Every third day 2 ladies came to clean the house and we got clean sheets and towels. The pool was cleaned twice a day. We did rent a car, because walking downhill to the village was easy to do, but uphill was more difficult.

A comfortable cottage with a nice pool. Nice view of the mountains and the bay of Bali. Good base from which Rethimo and Iraklio are easy to reach. Bali with its numerous restaurants and shops can be reached by car in a few minutes.

en eigenlijk was dat het enige waar we iets over konden zeggen, want verder was het perfect geregeld.
excellente service van mevrouw Sophia die ons op stond te wachten bij aankomst, en meerdere keren is ze even langs gekomen om te vragen of alles naar onze zin was, en ons een keer trakteerde op wijn en baklava. ze spreekt uitstekend Engels wat communicatie erg makkelijk maakt.
het zwembad werd bijna elke dag schoongemaakt, 2x per week schone lakens, schone handoeken (2 per persoon) en werd het huis schoon gemaakt.
je kan lopend naar het strand - je bent ongeveer 30 minuten aan het lopen, en ook terug is prima te doen (mits je wel een beetje gewend bent om te lopen) er zit niet zo heel veel hoogteverschil alleen aan het begin en einde zit er even een klimmetje in de wandelroute. wij hebben het regelmatig gelopen om toch even sportief bezig te zijn... je krijgt het er wel lekker warm van, maar op de bestemming wacht een heerlijk zwembad om af te koelen !
om de villa te bereiken als je van de snelweg komt dan zie je op strategische punten bordjes met bali villa die je naar de villa brengen (zoek op google maps naar Kostis villa - de google maps marker die je van belvilla krijgt klopt niet) wij hebben een week van tevoren contact opgenomen met Bali Villa's en kregen meteen een antwoord met route informatie.
op de laatste dag mochten we uiteindelijk zo lang blijven als we wilden, omdat hij niet verhuurd was die dag, dus we konden tot 4 uur in de middag blijven zonder enige meerkosten.
al met al een zeer geslaagde vakantie, en een heerlijk vakantiehuis. wij waren vroeg in het seizoen (laatste week mei en eerste week juni), en dus waren de meeste tijd de andere villa's om ons heen nog niet verhuurd en dus was het heerlijk rustig terwijl het wel gewoon 25..28 graden was.
wij hebben 2x boodschappen in Rethimnon gedaan bij de Lidl aangezien dat veel meer keuze gaf en veel leukere prijzen - en gecombineerd met een markt bezoek in Rethimon.
op die manier hebben we ook vlees ingeslagen en daarmee 3x de BBQ gebruikt.
op het strand kan je 2 stretchers en een parasol voor ongeveer 6 a 7 euro huren voor de dag, en dan kan je bier en versnaperingen bestellen die keurig bij je worden bezorgd.
absoluut een aanrader !
