Detached chalet on a small-scale holiday park in the heart of the Vosges.
Le Hameau de l'Etang occupies a special place in the heart of the High Vosges between 500 and 1200 metres above sea level. There are five chalets in the park, all of which have a beautiful view of the mountain and the pond.
The chalets are located in a six-hectare park where you can enjoy peace and nature. There is a communal swimming pool and a fishing pond. There are also playgrounds scattered throughout the park. The donkeys, horses and goats on the property complete the picture.
The centre of Le Syndicat is four kilometres from the park. Gérardmer is ten kilometres away. Larger towns such as La Bresse and Ventron are 40 kilometres away. This also applies to Alsace. This region is known for excellent wines and both German and French influences.
The chalet has three bedrooms with a 2-pers. bed or two bedrooms with a 2-pers. bed and a bedroom on the mezzanine with two sleeping places. In addition, the chalet has a bathroom, a separate toilet and the corner kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and washing machine. The covered terrace (45m2) gives you a beautiful view of the quiet and green surroundings.
During your stay in the chalet, the costs for water, electricity (up to 10Kwh per day), garbage tax and wood (based on the square metres of the chalet) are included.

Super nice holiday in a fantastic setting. The reception was excellent. Seen amazing things. The pool was good. Definitely worth repeating.

Very good reception, cottage was larger than expected, quiet area, lots of nature, ... just a pity the few hiking trails nearby (car needed to nearby villages, lakes, ...)

We had a wonderful week in Hameau de l 'Etang. The house was clean and everything we needed was there. The outdoor pool is lovely. The village is more of a hamlet where never really what happens, but because of it is your quiet outside with beautiful views of the green valley The owner is very nice. Upon arrival and departure, he comes along and he lives next to the pool. speaking bad French and he only French, but we vertonden each other perfectly. For beautiful views of the Route Des Crètes recommended. Anton Pieck And the small towns that lie in the Rhine Valley to the Vosges are also not to be missed. Our daughter has a lot of fun in the not too large amusement Fraispertuis, an hour's drive north.

Very nice and active holiday. In the town of La Bresse much can undertake: Visit sweets factory was short but fun. With children at Bol d 'air a double jump with the parachute from the mountains and made a rope passed with 100 km per hour to the other side gone. Gerardmer in a boat on the lake hazards.

Beautiful cottage. Indoors everything neatly trimmed. Only it was hard to find. We arrived in the dark with lots of rain. The cottage is in the village Julienrupt (Syndicat municipality.) We did not and we are not "so modern" we have GPS or something. Eventually the host called and agreed with him at the church of Julienrupt. Reception was good and the rest a great holiday. Ski areas (or La Bresse Gerardmer) are close. Too bad it rained. Therefore not much skiing. Although still a must. Environment is beautiful.

They are really beautiful chalets with a robust and rustic look (not that glorified mobile homes), but the cluster of chalets is well secluded and we had trouble finding them. We were the only guests, and that's a shame when you have a small child with you (no playmates). It seemed that we or we have the first guests of the season were the "grass " of about 50cm high shortly before seemed to be. Hay on the ground r nThe pool where we could use was beautiful but deep / dangerous for small children. The owner / manager was sympathetic and helpful. R nThe restaurant was closed. In the village In the next village towards Gerardmer is located along the main road a restaurant where you can eat. Well and for little money (completely midday)

Our stay in this house went well. The area is great for making multiple trips. Especially when nature lovers there is plenty of choice. Now we have had perfect weather this week, between 25 and 28 degrees. In addition, the pool was a welcome refreshment at the end of each day. R nThe cottage was clean, but sober. The friendly owners, but they did not speak a word in English or German. What difficult to make yourself heard.

The arrival was well arranged. The holiday home was nice especially through the large veranda. The living area has barely a seating area, only a large kitchen table. Due to the nice weather this was not a problem. In three weeks of rain, I think that's different!

Very nice place in the middle of a still wild nature, we particularly appreciate the calm and the beautiful landscape that surrounds us, and the region is rich in stroll and curiosity. The master of the place is very friendly and attentive to our least questions. A nice place to remember.

Neat cottage, that of all amenities. Small but nice pool. The surroundings are beautiful, the location of the small quiet park. The area has plenty to do and see for young and old. Tip: along the road to Gerardmer there is restaurant 'Au chant du bois ", an absolute must!
