Lunch moves slowly beneath the covered terrace, the pool stays busy through the hottest part of the afternoon, and evenings usually begin with wine appearing before dinner does. Set near Vaison-la-Romaine among vineyards and countryside roads, the property sleeps up to 12 guests across five bedrooms and suits families or friend groups looking for long summer stays with more space and privacy than a village hotel.

The 6000 m² fenced garden changes the pace of the stay completely. Children disappear into the open grounds for hours at a time, while adults drift between shaded seating areas, local market produce, and slower afternoons that rarely follow much of a schedule. The atmosphere feels distinctly southern French without becoming overly polished or formal.

Vaison-la-Romaine sits approximately 3 km away and is known for its Roman archaeological sites, including the ancient theatre and the excavated districts of Puymin and La Villasse. Weekly markets, vineyard roads, and cycling routes shape much of the local rhythm, particularly during warmer months when cafés and terraces remain busy late into the evening. Restaurants, supermarkets, and bike rentals can all be reached within roughly 3 km from the mansion.

Even guests who plan day trips around Provence usually end up back by the pool earlier than expected once the heat settles across the garden in the late afternoon.
