The Holiday flat

The former 17th century winery is now home to three luxurious holiday apartments in the old farmhouse. The apartments 'Le Rossignol', 'Le Martinet' and 'le Hibou' are very spacious (75 - 85 m2) and each has a beautiful terrace and a private garden. Around the old house you will find a beautiful area of m² with cherry trees, beautiful lawns and a large swimming pool (13 x 7m). Tennis in 500 m.

The apartment "Le Rossignol" (the nightingale) is characterized by a large living room with fireplace and antique ceiling beams, a beautiful kitchen in the vault, a handicapped accessible bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet, second bathroom with shower, washbasin, toilet, 2 bedrooms. Doe apartment is completely suitable for disabled and wheelchair users. Two splendid terraces with garden overlooking Mont Ventoux offer plenty of space for relaxation, sun and shade.

The holiday apartment le Hibou (the owl) is characterized by a large living room, a beautiful kitchen with much comfort, a bathroom with full bath, 2 washbasins and toilet, 2 bedrooms. the magnificent terrace with garden has a lot of privacy, sun and shade and offers plenty of space for relaxation. A second terrace at 50 m from the house, in the middle of the vineyard and only for guests of le Hibou, offers an enchanting view of Mont Ventoux

The holiday apartment "Le Martinet" (the swallow) is characterized by a large living room with antique ceiling beams, a beautiful kitchen, a bathroom with shower, washbasin, separate toilet and 2 bedrooms.
A magnificent terrace with garden and view of Mont Ventoux offers plenty of room for relaxation. There are places with shade as well as places with sun.

Location and surroundings of object

Around the house you will find a well-kept area (10,000 m2) with peach and cherry trees, grapes and lavender, a beautiful lawn and a large swimming pool (13 x 7 m). In the courtyard there are fountains, flowers, a table tennis table and a barbecue.

The whole is very quietly located at 500 meters from the main road and has beautiful views of Mont Ventoux.

Special features of la Fontaine de Charambaud: In the 17th century 'la Fontaine de Charambaud' was a 'ferme fortifiee', a fortified vineyard with its own well, a stone bread oven, a 'pigeonnier' (dovecote) and stables. Even today, the courtyard is still partially covered and shaded and with the splash of a fountain and an abundance of flowers, roses and climbing plants simply fabulous. Here you can play table tennis, have a coffee or organise a barbecue in the evening when the old beams are picturesquely lit. By the way, every apartment has outdoor lighting for the private terraces. Even the swimming pool can be illuminated like a fairy, so that you can swim under the starry sky even at night!

Special wine offer: 'La Fontaine de Charambaud', a restored 17th century vineyard, is situated amidst the famous vineyards and pine forests of the 'Dentelles de Montmirail', with the famous wines 'Cotes de Rhone Villages' such as Gigondas, Vacqueras, Beaumes de Venise, Seguret, etc. In the nearby area you will also find Chateauneuf du Pape, Lirac, Tavel, Cassis etc. We have been living and working in this beautiful area for many years and know the quality of almost every cave or domain.

High above the undulating hilly landscape lies the medieval castle town of Crestet. From "la Fontaine de Charambaud", one climbs by foot in 20 minutes up to the Burchtplatz, where one has a panoramic view over the Ouvèze valley and the Mont Ventoux. Crestet is also the starting point for hiking or VTT cycling tours in "les Dentelles de Montmirail", a mountain range known for its vertical rock faces.
