The house was built in an old farm and part of a larger complex. There is a large pond surrounded by ducks and geese. Small beds, steep stairs, but everything present in the kitchen and there was a nice fireplace. (Firewood for sale but too large blocks, a challenge) Outside there was little privacy, but we had a nice breakfast in the sun and in the evenings we could sit outside to see the bats fly. The apartments on the upper floor have a balcony, so more private. For € 5 per hour could be hired tennis court, and there was a nice pool to splash. Badminton Rackets so you could grab at the reception, as Petanque balls and bats. What we found was a pity that we only really came back late in the week, there was little information, and certainly not in Dutch or English. In the environment, everything on the bike or by car, but the beautiful beaches and charming towns are nearby. A relaxed environment, really for families. Very nice we found St. Valerie, the steam train and the cliffs.

So the holiday house I liked, although the steep wooden staircase had not been any case be (especially for older people), because I'm only 12 but it was no problem for mich.Der large park was schön.Mir have especially the animals have been well-liked (besondres the geese). I thought it a pity that there were no rabbits (of course in a large outdoor enclosure with freewheel and not in mini stalls). The pool was also good.

An ideal base for exploring the Somme Valley, located in a beautiful green area. Nice rural roads and cycle paths nearby. Too far from the beach on foot to go. A nice walking path between Quend-Plage and Fort-Mahon (approx. 4.5 km there and back). The cottage itself is quite spacious for french standards with 2 spacious bedrooms with good beds. The kitchen and bathroom are rather basic. There can be little sunshine in the living room, making it a bit cold to the touch (we were invited around 12 May in a rather fresh period). Luckily there was a fire there, and we could buy wood from the owner so we could spend cozy evenings anyway.

We have been there in week 39 with my family and found it a nice and very clean optrek.En a very nice area, but we do recommend to go in hoogsizoen because right now there is little to do in the surrounding villages, everything is close.

Right past the immense natural and nesting the Baie de Somme is Quend. Near immense sandy beaches (accessible optionally with nostalgic steam train) on the other side of the bay pebble beaches with chalk coasts. Besides nature, cycling, French rhythm you just latel lead by the tide, the difference between high and low tide is 8 meters and defined the rhythm on the coast. In a single place the water retreats at low tide even 14 miles (yes, miles) far back.

The apartment is part of a completely renovated farmhouse in northern France. The house is of modest size, with a small seating area for the door. The kitchen is very limited (two-burner electric stove and oven). By contrast, the house has a beautiful (outdoor) swimming pool and a large (play) meadow. Tennis court and plenty of parking.

I thought it was more to the sea, however, the complex is in the next village, the owner is very nice, we were not in one but in gite gite 2, a front door with glass Ca 1 m2, 1 rear window Approx 1m2 , throughout the day with the big light to even hebben.het themselves in sunny weather which light was woefully too cold for the time of year so we had electric heaters that were not fully understood all new, but that helps little hear when there is a fireplace that has a chimney directly from half a meter then you might as well just open the door too laten.de sea is really not to walk within 6A7 kilometers, there are beautiful cycling paths nearby. only s "morning's sun on the front but then you have next to your neighbors, so less free, on the south side is a muddy field with my whole ducks and s" night noise making and missing a portion of their wing. there can not come if there's "afternoon sun komt.alles does work in the cottage just want you with big daughter in the house or the bathroom close when you are in it, and the exhaust is faulty so the water runs over along the walls, You can not take a shower because it is tilted over the bath and so you have to hold the nozzle and there is no wall or curtain so if you have 2 seconds outside the bath sp

The accommodation on the estate was OK. It was wonderfully quiet. Well-maintained tennis court. Proper pool. The cottage itself could do better. No wardrobe in the master bedroom. Comfortable kitchen leaves something to be desired.
