Les Portes du Mont Blanc Residential Complex is in a quiet area in the town of Vallorcine. This attractive complex is in an excellent position. It is just fifty metres from some shops and near the 'Telecabine de Vallorcine' gondola lift. The lift gives you direct access to the La Balme ski-area. Vallorcine has kept its authentic, charming Savoyard appearance and is surrounded by delightful views. Its a superb ski-area in winter and invigorating for walkers in summer. La Balme has something for everyone. There are well kept ski-runs and excellent off-piste skiing which brings you down into the valley. You can then return to Vallorcine by train. There is a shuttle bus to Chamonix-Mont Blanc where you'll find more ski-runs and beautiful scenery. From Chamonix, a visit to Mont Aiguille is highly recommended. Youll enjoy splendid views of Mont Blanc and the Chamonix Valley from there. The Les Portes du Mont Blanc Residential Complex is build in chalet style and consists of seventy comfortable apartments. The complex has a heated swimming pool and a wellness centre. Entrance to these is free.

We enjoyed our stay here, although the weather was not ideal for skiing. The apartment was cozy and had a nice layout. We found plenty of activities within a short drive.

The apartment was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. It had all the necessities, and the location is good for skiing. I just wish we had had more sunny days during our trip!

The house is usually the change from weekly total of 70 apartments. In a corresponding waiting times that we should at check-Inn caught it, since only three employees work at the front desk. Our check-Inn has approx. 2 hours needed. We have then but still get a fill-inventory list on the meticulously noted is how the apartment is equipped and what state the object is located. So from the defective shower from the 50% water came up to the wine glass, which has granted our apartment. The nicest thing about the list, however, was that she was completely in French - we could indeed - but a good half we were able to google. The WLAN is however quite good - at least in our apartment. Upon check-Inn, we have witnessed the complaint of another guest who had complained of a non-functioning wireless. The comment of the receptionist & quotja which may be due to heavy snow. "No joke, we have really been amazed. From the sofa, we can only strongly advise against. At least in apartment R06 that thing is so worn out such that one night rolls all the time from the periphery to the center. Likely Alone
