Les Portes du Mont Blanc Residential Complex is in a quiet area in the town of Vallorcine. This attractive complex is in an excellent position. It is just fifty metres from some shops and near the 'Telecabine de Vallorcine' gondola lift. The lift gives you direct access to the La Balme ski-area. Vallorcine has kept its authentic, charming Savoyard appearance and is surrounded by delightful views. Its a superb ski-area in winter and invigorating for walkers in summer. La Balme has something for everyone. There are well kept ski-runs and excellent off-piste skiing which brings you down into the valley. You can then return to Vallorcine by train. There is a shuttle bus to Chamonix-Mont Blanc where you'll find more ski-runs and beautiful scenery. From Chamonix, a visit to Mont Aiguille is highly recommended. Youll enjoy splendid views of Mont Blanc and the Chamonix Valley from there. The Les Portes du Mont Blanc Residential Complex is build in chalet style and consists of seventy comfortable apartments. The complex has a heated swimming pool and a wellness centre. Entrance to these is free.

Contact money for the first day, because you can not pay with credit cards. Not even in the local supermarket. For pins must go to a neighboring village 10 km away.

A tiptop location, right on the train to Chamonix and a cable car. The spa amenities are great and the house was moderately busy so it was fairly quiet. Good restaurant with delicious Savoyard fondue. Beautiful apartment under the roof. Equipment is sufficient but maybe think about using the Nespresso machines (topic ecology). We (couple without children) liked it and we would come back anytime.

The apartment is large by French standards. We were four in a 6 person apartment so nobody had the sofa. Everything is beautifully finished and offers. It does look like the one on the picture. It is luxurious and provides the pool is also fine. Cabina for La Balme is next to the complex. Children can lessons in La Poya. It is 5 minutes by car or train. The area is very small so if parents can ski yourself and the kids. You see them always against. If you own La Balme want to do, you would go back to the Cabina what some inconvenient. There is no in La Balme Les itself. It is a very small town and you can not pins. There is a small shop for your daily needs. There is so much peace and the children can play safely outside. You can also visit the nearby villages for good food etc. .... We found it super nice people in the complex but also at La Poya lessons for the children.
