What a great place !! We stayed one week in La Chapelle, a very special experience to stay in a real castle and to have (more than) desirable comfort. Everything was clean, there was coffee, wine and water ready, the apartment was more than fully equipped (also in the kitchen almost everything was present). In addition, the Dutch administrator was always in the area if you had a question. Both in the immediate area and further afield there are many beautiful villages, cities and places of interest, we could have enjoyed a second week! Definitely recommended !!!

We stayed for a week in the beautiful chateau Lapeyrouse. Our apartment is in the former chapel. The ambiance is beautiful, a large living room with a large bay/chapel window. Very attractive and nicely decorated. The location of the castle is beautiful, quiet, an ideal base for excursions. There is virtually nothing to do/obtain in the village. For shopping and some entertainment you really have to go out by car. Everything else was well organized, a short but pleasant reception, you can always ask questions, but outside of that you have complete privacy. The courtyard and the view from there is beautiful. The entire area where the castle is located is beautiful. There are a few minor points in the apartment that I would personally recommend solving. A loose refrigerator door, a twisted shower rod with which you can no longer keep the shower head in place... These are not major issues, but on the other hand they are also relatively easy to solve. Dishwasher, kettle, combi microwave work excellently. The bedding and towels were nice and fresh, the level of cleanliness and freshness of the kitchen and bathroom could have been much better. The kitchen was downright sticky in several cupboards, causing a parade of ants to pass through the kitchen. That was easily solved with some ant spray and wiping the cupboards, but it would be nicer if it had already been clean (after all, you also pay cleaning costs for that). Furthermore, as mentioned, a beautiful accommodation, really worth staying for a few days!

The pool was lovely on hot days, certainly not too cold in Augustus. The Dutch manager we have not seen or spoken, only a friendly French-speaking lady at the beginning and end of the stay. This made it difficult to report a broken lamp and microwave. There is not much to do in the area, Annecy is quickly an hour away, we found a week here sufficient

The good weather gave us a wonderful week at the lake. Unfortunately, the evening is going on nothing, what our two teenage girls without the TV with German channels also hardly could be endured. ;-) The chapel in which we have lived, is indeed very impressive at first glance, but the high windows ermölichen no view to the outside, in the bedroom is no window and everything is very noisy. If the neighbors run up only over their wooden floor you can hear it loud squeak below. Man should therefore be prepared for. Outside in the courtyard is the inhabitants of the chapel a seating area with a table made of metal (very inconvenient because without conditions) are available. Designed the yard with gravel, which reflects the heat in the summer and makes a stay in the yard, which still must call his own to not a single flower, impossible. For living and sleeping it is ok, the day we have not even spent on the castle. The pool is closed off, which I think is great because it offers a safe protection for toddlers. A no playground would have been nice too. The lady of the Turistmusbüros in the next village is very friendly and has called us nice swimming on the lake.

We had a wonderful holiday, the chateau is beautiful, located in a beautiful area and we were very well looked after by the Dutch manager with tips ed., We have done a lot of activities, visit Seyssel on a Segway ride on Lake Annecy, caves visited and went to Chamonix and Mont Blanc mountains visited by train to Mer de Glace, a canoe trip on the Rhone done and dangers with a motor boat on Lake Annecy, Mount Grand Columbier hiked short, you can get good entertain and when they return the children appeared fine in the pool. Only downside would be that the Carrefour (supermarket) is 10 km away, but if you visit supermarket implanting your trips is fine to do so. Had a great week with our children aged 10 and 7 years. A beautiful and charming castle with nice garden around it. Lovely pool. Not very big, but fine to cool off and play. The surroundings are beautiful, the beautiful Lac du Bourget for sailing, swimming and water skiing, steep and less steep trails (hiking map and hiking book is ready on arrival), the Rhône where you delicious about canoeing, for the daredevils parasailing. Had a great week with our children aged 10 and 7 years. A beautiful and charming castle with nice garden around it. Lovely pool. Not very big, but fine to cool off and play. La Chapelle has a very high ceiling in the living room, creating a very special atmosphere and spacious. Truly a special location that we will certainly recommend to others.

We had a wonderful holiday, the chateau is beautiful, located in a beautiful area and we were very well looked after by the Dutch manager with tips ed., We have done a lot of activities, visit Seyssel on a Segway ride on Lake Annecy, caves visited and went to Chamonix and Mont Blanc mountains visited by train to Mer de Glace, a canoe trip on the Rhone done and dangers with a motor boat on Lake Annecy, Mount Grand Columbier hiked short, you can get good entertain and when they return the children appeared fine in the pool. Sir Frank Castle we have experienced as a very good host with lots of knowledge about (among others) the environment, we could really lose any questions at him. The surroundings are beautiful, the beautiful Lac du Bourget for sailing, swimming and water skiing, steep and less steep trails (hiking map and hiking book is ready on arrival), the Rhône where you delicious about canoeing, for the daredevils parasailing. The town of Annecy is approximately 45 minutes and is recommended. Aix-les-Bains, we found very disappointing, but we have only been in the center and not at the port. Moreover, it was bad weather. The nice thing about France is that you're there (Michelin) starred lunch at a fraction of the price of a dinner, usually around 30 euros for 3 courses. What a great place !! We stayed one week in La Chapelle, a very special experience to stay in a real castle and to have (more than) desirable comfort. Everything was clean, there was coffee, wine and water ready, the apartment was more than fully equipped (also in the kitchen almost everything was present).
