This castle apartment in a former chapel in France has a beautiful view and a lovely swimming pool. There are 2 bedrooms that can accommodate 4 people. This option is suitable for families.
Start the morning with a healthy walk in the forest, which is about 100 m from the accommodation. You can get a nice breakfast at the supermarket 1 km away and there is a nice restaurant also 1 km from the residence.
The accommodation is equipped with a bathroom including a shower and a toilet. If you don't want to eat out for an evening, you can prepare a delicious dinner yourself in the kitchen. The garden is furnished with attractive garden furniture and, like the courtyard, is shared with other guests.
The nearest bus stop is 8 km from the property.
The washing machine and dryer are available from Wednesday to Saturday. The washing and drying machine cannot be used outside these days.

The description of the castle and apartment on the site right helemaal.La Capelle is a beautiful apartment, the windows are very high so you can not see out, but unfortunately it is also a chapel. The bathroom is excellent as is the keuken.Minpunt the chairs and sofa in the living room are to be replaced. It is nice to stay in La peyrousse, you can enjoy the pool and garden and beautiful surroundings. Tip a visit to the Mont Blanc is very much true! Very special to spend the holiday in a real castle. The apartment is very nicely placed in a part of the castle. You take the creaky floors and poorly closing doors for granted. The pool was lovely on hot days, certainly not too cold in Augustus. The Dutch manager we have not seen or spoken, only a friendly French-speaking lady at the beginning and end of the stay. This made it difficult to report a broken lamp and microwave. There is not much to do in the area, Annecy is quickly an hour away, we found a week here sufficient

The setting is what you can expect. Beautiful historic setting, beautiful views. The reception was zakelijk.De living space is rather darkly furnished. The rooms are rather small. Fortunately, you have easy access to the communal terrace in the courtyard. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The living room was dusty. There is some mold here and there in the bathroom and kitchen and the hairdryer is best avoided. There is also a ground floor that I would rather describe as creepy. Certainly not as a children's room to use. The pool is / was not heated, so no guest ventured into the water. Too bad about the investment and the maintenance.Samengevat: nice frame, nice as a base, but there is much more to it.

The apartment has been fully refurbished and painted. Very tasteful and charming. The windows are high and the space can be somewhat small, but what an atmosphere. A week in a real chapel of a castle, with Mary above the door and a holy water font beside it. The service was really great, down to the smallest detail. Sir Frank Castle we have experienced as a very good host with lots of knowledge about (among others) the environment, we could really lose any questions at him. The surroundings are beautiful, the beautiful Lac du Bourget for sailing, swimming and water skiing, steep and less steep trails (hiking map and hiking book is ready on arrival), the Rhône where you delicious about canoeing, for the daredevils parasailing. And for the less experienced skiers the many wineries where you can sample to your heart's content. We really enjoyed it here.

The good weather gave us a wonderful week at the lake. Unfortunately, the evening is going on nothing, what our two teenage girls without the TV with German channels also hardly could be endured. ;-) The chapel in which we have lived, is indeed very impressive at first glance, but the high windows ermölichen no view to the outside, in the bedroom is no window and everything is very noisy. If the neighbors run up only over their wooden floor you can hear it loud squeak below. Man should therefore be prepared for. Outside in the courtyard is the inhabitants of the chapel a seating area with a table made of metal (very inconvenient because without conditions) are available. Designed the yard with gravel, which reflects the heat in the summer and makes a stay in the yard, which still must call his own to not a single flower, impossible. For living and sleeping it is ok, the day we have not even spent on the castle. The pool is closed off, which I think is great because it offers a safe protection for toddlers. A no playground would have been nice too. The lady of the Turistmusbüros in the next village is very friendly and has called us nice swimming on the lake.

Our stay at La Chapelle was special. You feel like for a short time lord and lady in a beautiful and well restored castle. A spacious accommodation with a pleasant temperature in particular by the thick walls. In the morning take some fresh, but the morning sun on the terrace with a beautiful view of the surroundings make everything right. The kitchen is equipped with the necessary facilities, the bathroom is very spacious, clean, modern and clean. In particular, the large shower was very nice. The accommodation is in our opinion suitable for a family (two) children. Had a great week with our children aged 10 and 7 years. A beautiful and charming castle with nice garden around it. Lovely pool. Not very big, but fine to cool off and play. La Chapelle has a very high ceiling in the living room, creating a very special atmosphere and spacious. Truly a special location that we will certainly recommend to others.

We as a couple had a great holiday in this beautiful château owned and operated by the Dutch. Lots of space in a "classical" building with all modern conveniences. Nice trips to places in the area, good area for hiking and (water) sport.

We had a wonderful holiday, the chateau is beautiful, located in a beautiful area and we were very well looked after by the Dutch manager with tips ed., We have done a lot of activities, visit Seyssel on a Segway ride on Lake Annecy, caves visited and went to Chamonix and Mont Blanc mountains visited by train to Mer de Glace, a canoe trip on the Rhone done and dangers with a motor boat on Lake Annecy, Mount Grand Columbier hiked short, you can get good entertain and when they return the children appeared fine in the pool. Only downside would be that the Carrefour (supermarket) is 10 km away, but if you visit supermarket implanting your trips is fine to do so. A real loss in our opinion was the absence of a freezer in our apartment (perhaps still available in other apartments)

I am with my mother and daughter of one year has been a weekend here. We had very good weather, which made it a great weekend. You get hit by a driveway to the castle, the first time really fantastic! There were virtually no other guests so we had a private castle and pool to ourselves. If it's not good weather, the apartment is very dark and not pleasant to sit inside.

The town of Annecy is approximately 45 minutes and is recommended. Aix-les-Bains, we found very disappointing, but we have only been in the center and not at the port. Moreover, it was bad weather. If you like good food, there are many good options nearby. The nice thing about France is that you're there (Michelin) starred lunch at a fraction of the price of a dinner, usually around 30 euros for 3 courses. For example, Le Belvédère or La Ciboulette in Annecy, Les Morainières or in Jongieux.

What a great place !! We stayed one week in La Chapelle, a very special experience to stay in a real castle and to have (more than) desirable comfort. Everything was clean, there was coffee, wine and water ready, the apartment was more than fully equipped (also in the kitchen almost everything was present). In addition, the Dutch administrator was always in the area if you had a question. Both in the immediate area and further afield there are many beautiful villages, cities and places of interest, we could have enjoyed a second week! Definitely recommended !!!

The castle is very pretty. La Chapelle has its own charm. Seems unusual that one has no window at eye level, ie you can never see out properly. Cleanliness is tight enough. Too bad that the many children occupy the pool from early morning until late evening. At restful relaxation around the castle is not thinking there.
