Great chateau. Perfect base to explore the area with our family. Nice small scale and therefore personal. Our apartment (salon du jardin) was also fantastic. So large that we could play hide and seek with our family and nicely decorated. Certain areas, like the kitchen and the bedrooms, don't come across well in the photos on the website, but in reality, they are perfectly fine. I can recommend this to everyone.

We stayed for a week in the "Salon du jardin" in this replica (built in 1904) of an old Turin castle.
As minuses we mainly experienced the light. In the living rooms, two luminaires hang from the high ceiling. Half of the lamps were broken, so it was very dark in the evening. It is therefore not an easy job to replace a lamp here: so high! Tip: hang two stately old-fashioned long chandeliers here and you will kill a few birds with one hit: the lighting fits in with the whole, the lower lighting gives more light and replacing lamps is easier.Outside there was too much light: the outside lighting of the castle was on until after one o'clock at night. However, the room with the sofa bed could not be completely darkened (only shutters for the lower windows), which was annoying.
But we like to end with the positive notes: we really enjoyed the castle! What a nice feeling to drive up the driveway here for the first time (but also afterwards) and see the castle looming through the trees of the beautiful park. How nice it was to take in the grandeur of that salon, hear the parquet creak under your feet and operate the old windows and doors. How nice it was to enjoy the courtyard, in the garden and the water features around.
Do we recommend this castle as a holiday accommodation? Absolute!

Beautiful castle in a great area with plenty of activities. The salon du jardin is (as the name suggests) close to the large garden on the ground floor. The apartment is spacious and classic, and well cared for. Thanks to the various seating areas, it is possible to eat outside and play in the garden. Thanks to the fence, the pool is suitable for a stay with small children, although they found the water very cold. The surroundings are beautiful, especially with the Lac du Bourget and the mountains, the many cycling routes and nice destinations such as Chanaz.

Ants there has everywhere .... we spent the "vacuumed daily to avoid leaving crumbs on the floor .. There are only three burners for cooking, which is particularly low for six people. Furthermore, it lacks a freezer in the fridge and no oven. That's in the kitchen quite improvise, or rather camp. It is all in all not the allure you expect when booking. Nevertheless, we had a great holiday, not least by the caretaker (who replaced the manager) who always stood by us in word and deed. And with the extreme temperatures, it was not particularly cool in the house!

Beautiful scenery, wonderful location, warm welcome and stay in the castle. Very worthwhile to go back someday. As the motorcycle enthusiast, we have enjoyed the scenic routes, nature and the pretty villages.

We are greeted very friendly welcome to this beautiful location by the host and were given a brief tour of our rooms. As well as a welcome basket with bottle of wine and coffee in it, very nice and kind. The setting is lovely, and the stay was very enjoyable.

Beautiful castle in a great area with plenty of activities. The salon du jardin is (as the name suggests) close to the large garden on the ground floor. The apartment is spacious and classic, and well cared for. Thanks to the various seating areas, it is possible to eat outside and play in the garden. Thanks to the fence, the pool is suitable for a stay with small children, although they found the water very cold. The surroundings are beautiful, especially with the Lac du Bourget and the mountains, the many cycling routes and nice destinations such as Chanaz.

spacious holiday apartment in a historic ambience! Stylishly designed, very well-kept house, very quiet, beautiful pool, great landscape for a quiet lake and hiking holiday. Good care of the guests, always approachable. The bedrooms are a bit dark and small, but this is made up for by the ambience in the large dining room and in the whole castle!

Beautiful location, beautiful weather, spacious accommodation, nearby restaurants, supermarket, some short early morning runs (not flat!), lovely drives to nearby locations, a wonderful place to chill out for a week. Thank you.
