This special apartment in a chateau in the south of France features stunning views and a refreshing swimming pool (open from 15 May). There are 2 bedrooms that can accommodate 4 people. This option is suitable for families.
Start the morning with a healthy walk in the forest located about 100 m from the accommodation. You can get a nice breakfast at the supermarket 1 km away and there is a nice restaurant also 1 km from the accommodation.
The accommodation comes with a bathroom including a shower and a toilet. If you don't want to eat out one evening, you can prepare a delicious dinner yourself in the kitchen. The garden is furnished with attractive garden furniture and, like the courtyard, is shared with other guests. The washing machine and dryer are available only from Wednesday to Saturday.
The nearest bus stop is 8 km from the accommodation.

On the downside 'de la tour' apartment is dark and chilly, certainly when it's a rainy day. The site consists of 9 apartments (including the one of caretaker and non-rentals from owners), which means it can be very busy at the pool, especially when families with children are present. Television and internet did not work in our apartment, although being advertised on the website. Finally, the outside areas were a few dozen meters distance from our apartment, which makes having outside breakfast, diner etc. cumbersome.

The castle is an incredibly beautiful place and it was a unique place to stay. At the time of our stay we were indeed the only guests, which enjoy something extra "s returned. Event in the summer season all the apartments of the castle were occupied, we can imagine that a lot of the rest is lost.

Until the moment you oprijd the driveway you will see nothing of the castle. But it's incredible, a real castle, complete with turrets, large gate and beautiful rooms. It echoes in the corridors, exactly as expected. Good amenities (pool had some bigger), wifi etc. Apartments pretty creaky floors natuurlijk.Leuk park surrounding it and the surrounding area lac bourget 5 min, 20 min aix les bains, Annecy (even better) small hours and chamonix (mont blanc) 1.5 hours. Waanzinnig.Naar annecy for mountain hikes (la tour neat, recommended for experienced hikers), in the mountains bourget something lichter.Prima stay and super environment.

The castle is located in an idilic setting and perfect for a relaxing holiday. We made some good friends and the children loved the pool. The caretakers were very helpful and ensured a great stay.The area is full of activities within a short drive and the local villages have all that you need. The scenery travelling here is breathtaking and a trip to Chamonix is recommended.

It's like you're in the Efteling! A great castle, with very nice apartments. Unfortunately our apartment (La Tour) was a bit dark due to the relatively small windows, but that you have when you're in the tower of a castle. The manager, Dutchman, does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible and to maintain the castle. Well A super location, also for example to marry.

Gracious hostess (only speaks no English, which is a pity). Castle beautifully, perfectly flat and clean. Pool clean and very pleasant. Lots of privacy. Near Serrieres en Chautagne is beautiful. Trips made to chamonix (Mount Láguile du Midi next to the Mont Blanc recommended!). In Lake Annecy been. In town Aix les Bains been. Very nice town. Many culture, flowers and nice shops! Hike around castle very nice. Waterfall nice photo "s and grapes, flowers, butterflies very beautiful! Our children (daughter 14 and son 12 have a good time and enjoyed everything!

It is a very beautiful castle, with a beautiful garden and pool and much to do in the area. Apartment itself gave birth less, the kitchen and the bathroom are not new and we missed the oven and dishwasher. But beyond that is fine.

The very friendly host + beautiful location make these apartments in this beautiful castle worth. Shame about the bad weather, the pool was for the kids in sunny weather definitely recommended. Also pretty cool that there is table tennis, shuffleboard, books etc were present for the guests.

We had a very good week in the castle. Unfortunately, no private outdoor space, but a very nice, large and cozy apartment, beautiful garden and courtyard, lots to do for the kids including swimming pool, table tennis, shuffleboard, chess, table football (what good came with 2.5 days of rain) and a very nice environment. Lake Bourget is beautiful, nice hike made and Chambery is a very charming town. Must.

The area has given us very good. We were there the end of October but at other times there is certainly much nicer and you can draw directly on the castle much. The apartment was clean enough for us. Only some corners as behind or below the heating has to be seen cobwebs. We had a small apartment with the children. For us it was enough. The kids had plenty of room and the bedroom was large. There were 2 TV with international channels. The kitchen was well equipped. The living room small but nice. The manager is very nice, but speaks only French. Overall, we all enjoyed it very much.

We have a fantastic week stayed in apartment De la Tour in the castle. "Morning out there," afternoons relaxing in the pool and in the afternoon enjoy a drink in the beautiful castle garden with beautiful old trees and beautiful views! The whole castle exuded a calm and beautiful atmosphere and plenty of room for somewhere nice to sit or just for kids to play outside. Prima (Dutch) receipt on the spot. Lots to see in the area. This location is well worth to book!

We did not expect that the apartment in the castle so beautiful, luxurious and would be complete. We especially enjoyed the delicious garden with beautiful views, but inside everything was totally ok. The decor was beautiful, real castle atmosphere. In the immediate vicinity are lakes, swimming ponds and mountains. Very nice, Dutch-speaking manager.

Had wonderful weeks in the cottage in the castle. Very friendly reception by the manager of the castle. The castle is really decorated in castle atmosphere. We greatly enjoyed the castle and the beautiful surroundings. Our children (16 and 12 yrs) also had a great time. Beautiful trips to Chamonix / Mont Blanc, Annecy, Gorges du Fier, Chambery, Grenoble etc. The kids liked the lake also very nice, pedal boating there is a must. All in all had wonderful weeks!

Neat manicured driveway and nice picture on arrival castle. Spacious apartment with enough space for possibly 4 people. Beautiful surroundings and in good weather a ride to the top of the Grand Colombier (only 10km from castle) definitely recommended for a magnificent 360 panoramic view

The place is beautiful, magnificent garden, the apartment is very well decorated and comfortable but some shortcomings: an empty and dirty swimming pool on our arrival, defective satellite for the television, weak wifi and cleanliness to be reviewed.
