In Hardelot - Equihen you can choose from two types of accommodation: apartments and holiday homes.

The apartments, which were completed in 2015, are situated in several buildings (low-rise, max. three floors) at the beginning of the park. You can choose from a 4-pers. apartment with one bedroom (FR-62224-10) or a 6-pers. apartment with two bedrooms (FR-62224-11). The other sleeping areas can be found in a sleeping corner with bunk bed. The apartments are furnished comfortably and in perfect order.

The connected holiday homes are in a separate part of the park. There are four different types: a 6-pers. house with side sea view (FR-62224-02), a 6-pers. house with front sea view (FR-62224-03), an 8-pers. house with side sea view (FR-62224-04) or an 8-pers. house with front sea view (FR-62224-09). Sea view means that you can see the sea, but not necessarily have an unobstructed view of it. All houses have been fully furnished in a modern and comfortable way. The 6-pers. houses have two bedrooms; the 8-pers. houses have three. The other sleeping arrangements consist of a sofa bed in the living room. Because of this sofa bed, we find the houses more suitable for four and six people.

All types of accommodation have comfortable box-spring beds. The houses have a garden with terrace and garden furniture. The apartments also have a terrace or balcony with garden furniture.

Location and surroundings of object

Holiday park Hardelot - Equihen is situated in the Domaine Sauvage. An area of approx. 6 hectare at the attractive Côte d'Opale (Opal coast). It is located on the edge of the village Equihen - Plage, not far from larger seaside resorts Outreau and Boulogne-sur-Mer. It borders on a nature reserve, guaranteeing peace and quiet and space. The excellent beach of Equihen is a stone's throw from the park. Here you can enjoy sun and sea, or be more active, with e.g. beach sailing, horse riding or walking through untouched dunes.

There is plenty to do in the vicinity. Pleasant seaside resorts Outreau and Boulogne-sur-Mer have several cosy restaurants, shops and terraces. Here you can also find Nausicaa, Europe's largest sea aquarium. The Opal coast is known for its regional products, varying from "moules frites" to culinary tours de force in one of the restaurants that distinguish themselves with one or more Michelin stars. In Equihen-Plage restaurant "Le Bouquet" is highly recommended: it has a view of the sea and a fine menu.

Golf lovers can indulge themselves in Hardelot. With Golf des Pins and Golf des Dunes there are two 18-hole golf courts in the middle of the woods. You can go to Hardelot's riding school if you want to explore the area on horseback. This is possible for beginners or more advanced riders. There are also tennis courts (outdoor as well as indoor). At the Club Nautique d'Hardelot you can sail, ride a sand yacht, hire a catamaran and surf.

Culture lovers will find there is plenty to do. The fort of Boulogne-sur-Mer was built in the 13th century and can be accessed via four gates. Within these city walls you can find a monastery, the courthouse and the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Boulogne. Also visit the castle with museum.

The bay of the Somme is highly recommended for nature lovers. It is one of the most attractive nature reserves in France and a paradise for bird-watchers with its 6,000 hectare. There are several footpaths and sights such as the Cap Hornu, Cap Hourdel, small seaside resorts Le Crotoy, Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme and Fort Mahon. In short there's something for everyone!

Holiday park Hardelot - Equihen is located in the attractive and quiet Opal coast. It's a spacious and quiet park whose greatest attraction is the beach that is just a stone's throw away. There is plenty to do in the region for fans of relaxation, nature and culture.

The reception is arranged remotely and from a central point. There is an administrator living near the park, but he is generally speaking not present in the park.

Afther making the booking you will recieve a bill from the holidaypark for the costs on side. The holiday park is asking to pay before arrival to make the incheck more easy.

The apartments in Equihen-Plage are located high on the dunes and offer reasonable views of both the sea and the landscape behind. Accessibility is good, although amenities are not directly around the corner. A car or good bicycle are actually indispensable. There are plenty of cycling and walking opportunities and beach entertainment too. The apartments are efficiently laid out, but they are starting to show considerable wear here and there. Maintenance of the interior is urgently needed (worn floor, loose skirting boards in the kitchen, wear on the armchair). Nevertheless, a great place to explore the opal coast. What was disappointing and therefore the rating is fair and not good, are the building activities directly across the street. We were not told that when booking. Fortunately, the inconvenience was not too bad and the work is almost finished.

Upon arrival turned the house where we had to pick up the keys there not to be. (What was in the letter of Belvilla). After call the number at the house, it turned out that we had to write even 128 euros (via Visa or because there was no desk) On paper Belvilla was that we had to pay on the spot. From call revealed that they had these sent an email on Thursday 29/12 around 11 hours before the payment HOWEVER WE WERE ALREADY DEPARTED after these troubles we got the code barrier and door code and safe, when entering the bathroom stunk ( discharging dry?) saw that everything was cleaned but not to perfection

Very well kept apartment, walking distance from the sea. The beach is huge and even at high tide, when it had to take place on a thin strip of beach, it was not so bad crowds. But beware, there is no concierge, no one to talk to. So make sure you have your mail with personal access code to. We also had a (small) complaint because ailed a cover for kopkussen. Well what do you have to ask, if there is none?

Well-kept apartment, within walking distance of the sea. Supermarket nearby. Restaurants are few and you get small portions.
