This holiday home had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kettle was handy for our tea cravings, and the fridge-freezer kept our groceries fresh. The location was peaceful, and we enjoyed some quiet evenings in the garden.

What a beautiful place! The large garden was a highlight for us, perfect for evening BBQs with friends. The bedrooms were nicely decorated, and several bathrooms made our stay even more comfortable. We would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay in this charming holiday home in Escalles! The spacious garden was perfect for our children to play in while we enjoyed evening drinks on the patio. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended for families!

Very good stay, the villa is well arranged, has beautiful volumes, and is very bright. Just a small note about the dishes (I think the dishwasher lacks salt and as a result, the dishes look dirty, which is not very pleasant). The pillows should also be changed as they have seen better days. But otherwise, a very pleasant stay (this is actually the second time we’ve come). And by the way, if the villa were ever for sale, I would be very interested in buying it.

The house is spacious, but the furniture is partly worn out and a number of lamps do not work (there are no spare bulbs available). The kitchen is poorly equipped, the non-stick coating of the pans is worn, and the kitchen knives are dull. The house is in a very good location from which the surrounding area can be easily explored. However, the restaurants in the village are geared towards the tourist season and close a few days a week at the end of September. An excellent place to spend a few days, but a number of improvements would make the house much more attractive.

A very nice house! A pleasant 15 minute walk from the beautiful beach. The house has everything, even a dishwasher, which is not mentioned in the description! However, everything is very thrown together and partly broken. (Furniture, dishes, glasses,...) The garden furniture could be renewed and supplemented. There were only 2 very unstable chairs, far too few for a house of this size! Despite everything, we had a very nice, relaxing holiday. In the town itself there are 3 restaurants and nothing else, you can go shopping in Calais, about 15 minutes away by car.

Negative: house not well maintained, many things in the house were broken/old/dirty, etc. E.g. hair and stains on the bedding, cap to take a bath did not close properly, one shower head barely worked, only 1 hard jet was available, the other shower head (in the other bathroom) was completely calcified but luckily it worked. We wanted to use the toaster, suddenly we had no electricity anymore..
Both table lamps in 1 bedroom did not work.

A very nice house! 15 cozy minutes walk from the fantastic beach. Everything is in the house, even a dishwasher that is not mentioned in the description! However, everything is very thrown together and partially broken. (Furniture, dishes, glasses, ...) Garden furniture could be renewed and supplemented. There were only 2 very unstable chairs, far too few for a house of this size! Nevertheless, we had a very nice, relaxing holiday. In the village itself there are 3 restaurants and nothing else, shopping can be done in Calais, about 15 minutes by car.

Negative: house not well maintained, many things in the house were broken/old/dirty, etc. For example, hairs and stains on the bedding, lever to plug the bathtub did not work properly, one showerhead barely worked, only one strong stream was available, the other showerhead (in the other bathroom) was completely calcified but luckily still worked. We wanted to use the toaster, suddenly we had no electricity anymore. The two table lamps in one bedroom didn't work.
