Arrival was easy. Key safe on the front door, just like the house. The environment is reasonable by French standards: there is not much to do. The supermarket and river (beach) are 5 min. The grounds that belong to the house we found great. Lots of space and the associated tranquility. Surrounded by nature, no other houses to be seen. Four different terraces around the house :) Regarding the house: everything we needed was there. Not very special for the rest.

Delightfully quietly located old farmhouse in a rural setting. The cottage is fully equipped, albeit somewhat "rustic" in style. Beautiful spacious, fully fenced garden (barbed wire fence). The contact person is friendly and helpful. Decize is located 5 minutes by car, a small but lively town with a small weekly market on Fridays, two large supermarkets, and even a McDonald's.

Avoid! The photos and reviews do not match the house. It's cold, it's dark, there's a water leak, questionable electricity, no working television. Not at all satisfied with this rental. The information was supposed to be passed on to the owners but absolutely no news.

We had a great time in this house! It was spacious enough for our group, and the kitchen was a chef's dream. The nearby attractions, such as the cathedral of Moulins, were a nice day trip. Would love to come back!

The house is dated inside and especially dirty, why the guests have to pay for cleaning because there are cobwebs everywhere, stove dirty, cooking pans greasy, coffee maker is dirty, light switch works with tape, terrace unusable due to accumulation of old rubbish, available towels washed immediately because smell of cigarettes (up to 20 €), shower cubicle with mold, etc.

The garden is very nice, otherwise the assessment would have been bad.

You have a nice piece of land around the house for you alone with only some cows as direct neighbors. It was a pity that the fence was not suitable enough to let the dogs loose, there was already 1 stuck in the barbed wire. We were only 2 people and then you have plenty of space in the house. You should not expect a tip-top maintained and spotless house. We had to replace a lamp, get batteries because really all remote controls no longer worked, we had to reset the dish, etc. If you read through the guestbook, especially the stories of the owners, you quickly see through things like that . In any case, we enjoyed our stay.
