Mansion in Charrin by Loire with Pool

We had a great week in this beautiful house in Charrin with the family. The house is fully equipped and the beds sleep wonderfully! We did not use the top floor (where there are also two beds) to sleep. This floor was quite warm, but in the evening we could stay there comfortably with the windows open.
The swimming pool is a big plus for warmer days and the garden is beautiful! A good price-quality ratio and also pleasant communication with the owners of the house in the Netherlands.
For a trip you should always take into account 45 minutes to an hour of travel time, towns such as Moulins and Autun are recommended. We also had a nice day in the Morvan nature reserve.

Enjoyed immensely with 3 families. Enough space for everyone and the garden with swimming pool is ideal. Quiet area with a small shop nearby. Furthermore, a town with larger shops is about 10 minutes away.

Beautiful house, with lots of land around it. Nice swimming pool, ping pong table and football field. Everything is there. House is a bit older which has its charm. Don't expect slick hotel rooms. The only downside is that there is little to do for children in the area.

Wonderful holiday celebrated in this beautiful house, which is fully equipped. Playing football on the large football field, s on the other lawn, delicious food in the garden and to top it all off, a lovely swimming pool. It can get quite hot in Burgundy, so indispensable in summer. Plenty of space for our two families, with the eldest sons having the gite to themselves. Nice welcome by the local bakery and her husband.

As agreed. Nice location and beautiful house with large garden. Environment was very beautiful, quiet village, wonderful holiday feeling.

Pleasant reception by caretaker. Overwhelmed by huge grounds around the house. Beautiful large house, clearly furnished for personal use and not as a rental stable. Beautiful swimming pool with good seating / ligameublement. Total rest experience. Not much to do in the area. beautiful town (Decize) nearby. The Loire is 2 km from the house. Bread service in the morning is a plus

Very welcome by the intendants. The outside is well equipped with umbrellas, deckchairs, summer lounge and beautiful pool. Negative point no outdoor lighting for evenings. Beautiful ground for outdoor activity. The interior is ok, kitchen and dining a bit small in the main house. Kitchen equipment to improve: no toaster, no steak knives or sharp knives otherwise beautiful and large living room. Pluses 3 bedrooms with single beds are a plus when there are not only couples. Quiet environment not overlooked.Little more: fresh bread deposit almost daily at the grocery store and excellent pastries. Nice area to eat good beef.

Those who want to live like a God in France are at the right address with this truly beautiful authentic French holiday home. No lack of peace and space, both on the estate itself and in the home. A place where you and your family can come to yourself and you feel at home quickly. We had the pleasure of being the first guests to stay in the house and had a fantastic week. The week was from 6 to 13 July 2019. The family composition consisted of 2 adults and 3 children aged 10, 12 and 14 years. The great thing about this property is that it is in an environment that is not overflowing with tourists. In particular, the villagers were very friendly and we were warmly welcomed. In the nearby area there is plenty to do and see. This part of France consists of rolling hills and wide fields. In the area you also have plenty of opportunity to shop at one of the large supermarkets. But you don't have to make many trips, the house offered more than enough entertainment for us not to go out every day. In short, we enjoyed it very much. Recommended!

Spacious home, many rooms, well furnished. Plus a smaller home also with every comfort. Large site with large swimming pool. The children immediately had their hands full to explore everything. Peaceful environment with active agriculture. Small town for all shopping at approx. 12 km. The presence of a depot for fresh bread daily was important. Owner was approachable and responded very quickly to questions or small obstacles.
