Great base for visiting Verdun and other sites about WWI. Nice, luxurious house. The wifi was rather slow and often fell off.

A beautiful holiday home with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. There were some problems (basement under water, leak on the sink) but the owners solved everything quickly.

Nice house and fully equipped. Quiet location and a nice heated swimming pool. The house is not far from Verdun and there is still much to see in the area about the First World War.

Fantastic house, very spacious, beautiful rooms, great beds. French doors everywhere, phenomenal view !! Lots of privacy. Very nice owners, Mrs. Colette comes to clean the pool completely every 2 to 3 days. That is also the time to discuss or ask questions, but this can also be done by email, she responds very quickly. She speaks enough English to communicate. Large garage with ping pong table and bicycles that may be used. The pool is beautiful; clear water and heated. We enjoyed our two weeks. Highly recommended for families, but also for families with supporters. Oh yeah; a private cinema in the basement! Tip for the owners; check the dishes / glasses; there is plenty but a bit of a mixed bag. Also maybe a bottle of wine on the table on arrival and for example a few bottles of cold water in the fridge would be great, we think the wifi should be a bit faster.

Hello We had a very nice holiday. We really enjoyed everything about the house, and there had to offer back. We were 7 adults and 1 baby. The service was perfect! We stayed with our cat in gite la Meuse for one week, everything is fantastic, beautiful house with all the luxuries of sauna until heated pool overlooking thin and Belleray. Verdun is a beautiful city which is about 3 km. The owners are very friendly, they do not speak Dutch but Mrs. speaks a little English and with my best French, we understood each other well. The owner suggested us to sail on the mesh with his motorboat, he would show us and then we were allowed to use it every day. Ultimately, we have not had time because we spend a lot of time thanks to the good weather in the pool and when visiting the city of Verdun. Overall everything was perfect here and a week was basically shortage, so we definitely come back. In this way we want to Monsieur et Madame Collet again thank you for this wonderful holiday.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners. Ms. spoke pretty good English and we received a very extensive tour of the house. The whole house looked great, even the dog was thought of with a drinking bowl and dressed on the couch. The pool was fine, no chlorine in it, so swimming all day without worrying your eyes are no problem.The rooms are spacious and tidy with plenty of closet space and the 2 bathrooms were also very neat. The surroundings are very nice, there is a lot to see and also with small children it is good to live. Shortly recommended!

Everything was fine. The house was described on the website, only the kitchen was a bit small for 9 people. The children enjoyed every day by the pool, even though the weather was not perfect. We also have a very nice, varying walk made to a playground, caves, pasture, graveyards ... The owner was very helpful and provided us upon arrival with the necessary information. It also stopped a bakery at the door! Definitely recommended.

We were the first tenants and the owners are super nice and completely finished. In itself a very nice house. It does need a facelift, just like a proper polish. The blocks of the previous tenants were still under the seat as well as the dog's ball. We first had to clean the kitchen ourselves before we could / wanted to use it. Not all sockets work. Due to hard rain showers, there was a leak in the roof that seeped through the ceiling in the hall. The bathroom / toilet was also a damp spot with mold. Garden and pool were in order.

What a lovely house near a beautiful city (Verdun). There is so much calm and with a lovely pool entertain children also fine. You can dilute the prints look and do some sightseeing.

Beautiful spacious house with lots of privacy and a fully fenced garden. Almost everything is available from household materials. The cinema in the basement with Netflix is also a nice extra. Enjoy to the fullest.

The house had everything we needed for a nice holiday. The room and bathroom on the ground floor were easily accessible for the person who could not do stairs and our dog could safely walk outside to his heart's content. Furthermore, the house was also fine. The owners were very helpful so we had a very nice stay. The area was also beautiful and there were certainly some sights close by. We definitely recommend this stay and will come back!

Beautiful new house. Being situated in a alotment where more houses are built. The garden is beautiful with a lovely pool. However, little private garden, neighbors on both sides and you look from the street into the garden. Train you have absolutely no problems, no more than twice a week. Every day the baker at the door. Beautiful and impressive surroundings.

We were well received but needed little explanation because we came for the 2nd time. We have enjoyed a happy holiday! Here the swimming pool is a real topper. The dishwasher and the shower above may be checked.

We have been here one week with 4 adults 2 children and a dog. The reception is neat and friendly. The house itself is incredibly beautiful and charming big. The pool is really great. Beautiful large garden, and the device is also really great. I have no negatives. We have one of the nicest vacations ever had in this amazing house. Verdun is a nice town. Take a cheese slicer with you because there is not and not for sale in the Cora supermarket.

with 2 adults and 5 children, this house was completely top, plenty of rooms and space. In the basement a room with fitness equipment and a sauna AND a home cinema. The French Netflix is doable, you can set everything with English subtitles. There is a large washing machine and dryer which makes a week away with children ideal. In addition, a large garden with a heated swimming pool, in the evenings you can also enjoy the pool with lights on. Everything is available in the house. There were even towels for us to use. There are plenty of supermarkets in the area, only the center of Verdun is a bit boring. Many shops closed probably because of Corona. We visited the citadel and the cathedral, but especially enjoyed the peace, space and pool. We had no problems at all from the train that passed by every now and then (more than that). The owners are very friendly and the woman speaks sufficient English, we got a tour and everything was well explained. In a previous review, someone said that they would appreciate some bottles of chilled water and a bottle of wine on arrival. The owners took this well, because there were some bottles of water in the fridge and a bottle of champagne! This is the ideal place for a family with children who want some peace and quiet!

The reception is very neat, an English-speaking lady will show you around the whole. The house is really fantastic, a large, completely enclosed garden and of course the fantastic swimming pool. Lots of privacy, you literally look out over the fields from the back of the house / pool. In about five minutes there are two bakers, within ten minutes you can be at about six different supermarkets.
