After a few years in Germany back to France. There is nothing to do in Seigneulles but we already knew that and it is not bad and apart from the farmer opposite it is nice and quiet.
The Gite is very spacious, nice and cool and equipped with everything. Helpful owners who speak reasonably good English. We were unlucky that in the last week there was an invasion of flying ants above. There is not much you can do about that other than spray with poison and camp on the ground below for a night.
Bar le Duc is the largest town in the area, there you can find everything from Zeeman to kebab. Too bad the swimming pool closes for a few hours halfway through the day, so a day at the swimming pool is not possible. But to Lac Medin a 40 km drive. Beautiful lake with a fenced swimming area with a lifeguard. Verdun and Saint Michel are also easy to drive to. All in all we had a nice holiday.

Upon arrival we did not know where to go, but once inside only wow! What a cool house! Fully equipped, and very complete and clean. Unfortunately, there was little to do in the vicinity. This house is certainly suitable for peace seekers, adventurers can better choose a different destination. We were 4 kids, and for zoo, swimming lake or other activities you have to drive at least one hour. Verdun is good to do and also very nice to spend a day. The owners are super nice, we were even invited for a pizza night! Although we did not quite know what was expected of us ... (afterwards half the village was invited, but nobody spoke english .... (a very nice experience)) Also they can use their pool, but only if they themselves are present, and that was not so often unfortunately ... We had booked for 2 weeks, but after 1 week we had seen it nice, we also went home earlier because of this.

We (my husband and 3 children (8-13 years) and I had booked a week, but did as it could have been, would remain quite longer. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the French owner, who gave us a tour his cottage. had we ended up now with a barn in and thought it? But when he opened the door attacked our mouths open in surprise what a lovely refurbished and spacious cottage! the bedrooms are very spacious and clean beds and nice and wide and long, and moreover made upon arrival! Because it was hot weather we could use the swimming pool of the owners really a nice surprise. the garden is big enough sun but also shade and it is nice if you amidst heat wave is. the owner had seen apparently we went boules and the next day came up with the Finnish skittle game. we could borrow the rest of the week, we have had a lot of fun. all and all a real winner this spot in Seigneulles. If you like Flea, you there completely at your place all decorated with antiques!
