Henri is a wonderful person! He communicates well in English, and the house is beautiful and peaceful! All the necessary things are provided. You can comfortably stay here for two weeks.

Comfortable and clean, but sometimes it felt a bit isolated. The views of the marshes were beautiful, but we found ourselves driving a bit to reach some attractions. However, the vacation home had everything we needed and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic time here! The location was ideal for exploring Normandy, with many historical sites a short drive away. The property itself was well maintained, and the garden was a nice place to relax. The only downside is that we wished we could have stayed longer!

We found the La Cigogne gîte a delightful retreat, The stork's nest nearby was a unique touch! The kitchen had all the essentials, making it easy to prepare meals, It was also a great base for exploring the historical sites of Normandy, The owner was friendly and helpful, which made our experience even better

The vacation house is charming and equipped with everything we need for a comfortable stay. The living room was cozy, and we appreciated having two bathrooms. The tranquility of the surrounding area made it a great escape from the hustle and bustle. A lovely place to relax, but don't expect luxury.

This place is decent, clean, and well located to explore the beaches of Normandy. The beds were comfortable and the heating worked well. We didn't spend much time in the house as we were out visiting historical sites, but it perfectly met our needs. We would stay again if we found ourselves in the area.

Our stay at the Beautiful Holiday Home was simply delightful! The living room was spacious and cozy, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby landing beaches, We particularly enjoyed the terrace in the morning sun, sipping coffee while watching the storks in the garden, A lovely touch!

Lovely house in a very quiet and beautiful area. An excellent base for visiting D-Day locations such as Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, Sainte-Mère-Église, Crisbecq & Azeville batteries and Pointe du Hoc. But also nice trips to the northwest and northeast coasts. The house was well equipped for us, with a nice bed and 2 terraces. The owners are very friendly, know a lot about the area & history, and we have received many good tips from them for excursions. If there is a problem, it will be taken care of immediately. Highly recommended for a holiday in Normandy, especially if you come for the D-Day/WWII history.

The main building with the holiday home on the side is a picture from the outside. The holiday home is an old building. The interior is simple and also old. The microwave, dishwasher, oven, kitchen and shower, it is all old and therefore somewhat dingy. It's not really dirty, but it is well used. The cottage was certainly not dirty but also not clean. The beds are hard and you have to like it or be able to stand it. There is no service outside of bed linen. You have to bring your own towels and you can bring your own waste to the village. The owner is friendly and discreet. Furthermore, it is very remote. That gives a lot of peace, but at the same time restaurants and a shop or bakery are not just a short walk away. We have used the residence as a base for visits to the famous WWII beaches and that was doable.
