Located in Brucheville, between the Manche and Calvados regions, it's an ideal base for hiking, visiting historic castles, lively seaside towns, and local markets. We had a nice vacation. Pros: fenced garden, spacious bedrooms, lots to do in the area, Senseo, washing machine Cons: 2 cooking points on induction plate, toilet upstairs and warmth of the house Recommendation: Omaha Beach, Caen, Bayeux, D-Day experience Carenton-les-Marais, Abbaye Du Mont Saint Michel, Zoo de Jurques Dialan sur Chaine Unfortunately, the water pressure and water supply were a problem when we were there. This resulted in sometimes no to almost no water. This was sometimes very difficult with showering and water use. This is force majeure, but still difficult.

Beautiful, tidy little house with everything you need. Large fully enclosed garden. All necessities present. Super nice owners too. Wifi works excellently but no 4G coverage nor calling or texting, so contact with home can only be via WhatsApp or Messenger. We also find it a pity that there is only a toilet upstairs. But that doesn't outweigh all the advantages. Our experience with Belvilla's customer service, however, is less favorable and we will therefore never book through this agency again. I booked via chat and a price was agreed upon. Afterwards, I received the invoice from Belvilla and it was higher than the agreed price. It took months for Belvilla to adjust the price, and this only happened after I involved our legal assistance. Shame on you Belvilla!

Beautiful, nice house, equipped with all conveniences. Comfortable good beds, nice location. However, no toilet on the ground floor.

It was a lovely place with a beautiful garden. Enough space for our children to play football. The house was nice and very clean. Kitchen was very complete and the big dining table was pleasant! We recommend this place. The owner gives you a warm welcome. Thanks for the stay!
