We are warmly welcomed by the friendly hostess Joanna. The cottage is certainly in order and everything you need and much more is present. The view from the balcony and the starry sky are beautiful; you can keep looking at them, and the garden is well-maintained. Quiet environment but still close to everything you need. There is something for everyone to experience, both in terms of regular tourism and the war history. Our dog and Nikita also got along, so they had fun too. We went home with many good memories...

Very friendly Mrs. Johanna. Beautiful garden and our little house on the upper floor with a nice terrace. We could barbecue; everything we needed was present. For our little dog too. However, no hot water anymore for showering—forgot to mention that. Maybe also renew the mattress. Close to the sea and nice restaurant terrace. We had a lovely week. Regine and Pascal, dog Ziva.

We had a lovely time at this holiday home! The location was quite ideal, just a short walk from the beach and close to some interesting historical sites. The garden was a great place to relax, and we even picked some herbs for our barbecue. The owners were very laid-back and gave us some good tips on what to do in the area. Overall, I would say it was a fantastic experience; I would definitely return for another stay!

A well-furnished and maintained house with a nice balcony and a beautiful garden. It has great beds and is equipped with everything including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The apartment is located in a quiet area and has all the conveniences. From the balcony, you can see the sea about 1 km away. A few kilometers drive from the apartment is the World War II museum, which is definitely worth a visit. Other World War II attractions are a bit further away. A "must" in our opinion is the D-Day Experience. This museum consists of 3 parts: a simulation in a real WWII airplane – a very nice film about D-day in different languages and a museum. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed it!

Warm welcome! Complete house! Almost equipped with all conveniences. It's a pity that if you are 4 adults, 2 have to sit on a straight dining chair. A nice bench would be great. The door opened, and there was really a musty smell. Clothes smelled musty when we got home too. It really needs to be cleaned thoroughly sometime, and more windows should be opened. The village was dead! Nothing open! We had to search for a restaurant the first evening. A bit of a shame, because it seems there is a lot to do 800 meters away. The surroundings were beautiful! Saw nice things. Keep in mind when you book there, you still have to drive quite a distance to see the historical things.

With the family, teenagers, and a racing bike, we had an incredible 5-day stay at villa Quin. Warm welcome by the owner with refreshing drinks and flower petals on the steps! Very well-equipped kitchen with coffee capsules and dishwasher capsules! Hey! We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (14 and 17 years) and have had a great holiday in Normandy, Quinéville. On arrival we were welcomed with a drink, a snack and a chat. The owner does her very best to speak good English. Nice! They have a dog and a cat who walk around there. No problems with either animal. The apartment is fully equipped. Fresh, clean, a flower .... In short SUPER! You are pretty central to view everything on D-day. Really recommended!

Looking back on a fantastic week in Quinéville. What have we enjoyed. The house is an excellent base for visiting beautiful Normandy with its many sights. On arrival at our house we were welcomed by the owner of the house, who also lives on the same property. We have experienced this as very pleasant. We were welcomed with coffee and a homemade cake. The cottage itself was spotless and fully equipped. Dishwasher, washing machine, Senseo, toaster, oven, etc. The cottage exudes atmosphere and warmth and in every room were fresh flowers from their own garden. A beautiful garden that you can also use. We were 4 adults and the cottage was spacious enough. No shortage of closet space either. Spacious bedrooms with really good mattresses. All slept well. Half way through the week, Joanna made us another delicious treat. What lovely people. They answer all your questions and sometimes with a mix of French/English we always managed to get it right. We enjoyed the beautiful Normandie and certainly Joanna and Jacques. And of course from Nikita, the nicest, sweetest and smartest dog in France. We will miss them, but have made dear friends for life.

This holiday home is really "Fantastic" and the landlords even better (see previous reviews, absolutely correct !!). The residence is equipped with all conveniences, private area for parking, complete privacy and a very beautiful environment. We wanted to get acquainted with Normandie and everything there is to see about W.W. II. Well that worked. Everything is very easily accessible, the roads are fine, the French DO drive neatly here, everything is very well indicated on the signs. In short: a more than excellent stay in beautiful surroundings.

A very nice, cosily furnished and fully equipped holiday home. The landlady is very enthusiastic and helpful. On arrival we were served drinks with homemade cookies and fresh eggs. For our stay in the holiday home in Quineville we clearly give 6 out of 5 stars! Started with a very warm welcome from our landlady, who was always at our side with advice and action, without being intrusive in any way, we moved into a rel. new, impeccably furnished apartment. The attention to detail was evident in the furnishing of the apartment as well as in the design of the garden. It doesn't get any better than that. For 4 people (including our older children) the size is perfect. The huge, fenced garden is ideal for a stay with a dog. Quineville itself is a rather small town with a sandy beach. The World War II Museum there is well worth a visit. Larger purchases are more likely to be done in neighboring towns about 6km away, although Quineville itself has a very small shop, there is also a bakery, a "patisserie with a cafe", a hotel restaurant and a bar-like location.

Apartment is very clean, comfortable, complete and tastefully decorated with quality items. Good kitchen equipment and plenty of crockery. Tip: bring your own sharp (bread) knife. Good beds, wonderful bed linen and nice bath towels and towels. Lovely terrace with nice chairs and a magnificent view. Too much sun on your terrace? Then find a spot below in the beautiful garden. In the area there is an abundance of great sandy beaches: from very quiet to more crowded. Recommended! We would love to come back.

The arrival was very cordial! We have immediately been offered a drink by the Deceire fam. Environment was very beautiful, ie certainly the view. In the town of Quineville was not much to experience, but regarding beach bar and Brasserie you could eat well. That's why we are to other places. The town of Valognes is certainly worth a visit. This gives an impression of indeed small Versailles. It is a shame that we were not allowed to enter the beautiful hotel Beaumont without a guide. As an addition, they are very sympathetic owners of this accommodation! We have never experienced this before .... We We were even allowed to sit down on Friday before our departure for dessert and aperitif with their family.

The area is nice, close to Quineville with bakery, biscuterie, eatery on the beach. Many trips are possible from the holiday address. Naturally focused on D-Day: Utah beach, Omaha beach, the bunkers in Azeville, but also other locations such as Bayeux, Mont St Michel, La Hague with the lighthouse (Phare de Goury). We have had a very nice holiday week in Normandy. This is certainly also due to the good care of the owner !!! Highly recommended!

The domain is located 1km from the beach, where a beach bar and a hotel/bar/restaurant can strengthen the inner man. Sights from the Second World War can be visited and are a few km drive from the accommodation. Beach walks can also be made. Ideal for relaxation and emptying your head.

A wonderful place to relax and be busy. Quineville is small and has very little to offer. And yet again not. It is the calm French daily life that you can immerse yourself in. The market is a must. The whole village is there enjoying tasty things and sniffing between the old and new stuff. It has an unimaginable beach which is 200 meters wide at low tide. Quineville is perfectly located as a base to Cherbourg, Saint Vaast-La Hougue, Montebourg and Valognes. The beginning of the invasion beaches and everything that entails historical highlights is a little further, but the cozy Sainte Mere Eglise is approx. minutes drive. Check if the navigation is not a bit too optimistic. You can just be sent on roads which are really only suitable for jeeps, tanks and tractors. Everything has been thought of and the pleasant and sweet owners are approachable for everything. So does their dog that we spent the necessary playtime with. The apartment offers everything, is super clean and offers all the privacy. We had a wonderful time.

The owners themselves have a super nice and sweet Swiss Shepherd, our puppy really enjoyed himself with that! We got many tips on what to see, which is also useful. A beach less than 5min drive from the house (a beach where dogs are allowed to run loose! Super !!). For an overprotective dog owner I can honestly say I have never been more comfortable, The yard was very securely fenced and my pup really enjoyed himself. Both dog and owner could fully enjoy a perfect holiday here. Definitely highly recommended

Me and my family love the peace. This location is ideal for that! House, garden, spacious place to park our car.

Our son can play football and play with the owner's dog. Everything is available in the cottage (washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi).

A fantastic place that everyone should know about. After arrival we were very lovingly received by the owners of this apartment. They explained everything very well to us. Beautiful accommodation where everything is in order. Everything you need is present and in very good condition. In the area is very much to do so we enjoyed all the beautiful nature and beautiful beaches so we went to many D Day locations. The owners are very helpful and definitely want to think along to let you have a nice holiday. Overall a must for everyone!

Hey! We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (14 and 17 years) and have had a great holiday in Normandy, Quinéville. On arrival we were welcomed with a drink, a snack and a chat. The owner does her very best to speak good English. Nice! They have a dog and a cat who walk around there. No problems with either animal. The apartment is fully equipped. Fresh, clean, a flower .... In short SUPER! You are pretty central to view everything on D-day. Really recommended!

Upon arrival, I was immediately warmly welcomed. The apartment was very neat and fully equipped. This is also a great holiday address for dogs. The garden is completely fenced and the owners have a friendly dog with whom my dog has played outside almost daily. The owners are very helpful and are happy to assist you. The apartment is in a beautiful area where many beautiful walks and nice trips can be made.

The accommodation was good, everything was provided. It was also very clean. The welcome from the owner was great. There was a bottle of red wine, home-made jam and freshly baked brioche bread in our house. We were also offered a drink, it was a super sweet lady. The area is also very beautiful, it is within walking distance of the beach. There is also much to see in the area.

Fantastic apartment in a beautiful location in Normandy. Committed enthusiastic owners who do their very best. Apartment is very clean, comfortable, complete and tastefully decorated with quality items. Good kitchen equipment and plenty of crockery. Tip: bring your own sharp (bread) knife. Good beds, wonderful bed linen and nice bath towels and towels. Lovely terrace with nice chairs and a magnificent view. Too much sun on your terrace? Then find a spot below in the beautiful garden. In the area there is an abundance of great sandy beaches: from very quiet to more crowded. Recommended! We would love to come back.

For our stay in the holiday home in Quineville we clearly give 6 out of 5 stars! Started with a very warm welcome from our landlady, who was always at our side with advice and action, without being intrusive in any way, we moved into a rel. new, impeccably furnished apartment. The attention to detail was evident in the furnishing of the apartment as well as in the design of the garden. It doesn't get any better than that. For 4 people (including our older children) the size is perfect. The huge, fenced garden is ideal for a stay with a dog. Quineville itself is a rather small town with a sandy beach. The World War II Museum there is well worth a visit. Larger purchases are more likely to be done in neighboring towns about 6km away, although Quineville itself has a very small shop, there is also a bakery, a "patisserie with a cafe", a hotel restaurant and a bar-like location.

If you like peace and nature you have to go to Johanna and Jacques. "In the morning you wake up from the silence! These people make your stay a fairytale. You immediately feel at home in the immaculate apartment where nothing is missing. In the village within walking distance you can find a bakery, butcher, resto and a delicious coffee house. We will definitely go back next year and can only recommend this location

A super stay! Honestly never had such a warm welcome, first holiday with my puppy so was a bit scared how this would go. But it went perfectly, we had a nice drink and a delicious cake on arrival. The owners themselves have a super nice and sweet Swiss Shepherd, our puppy really enjoyed himself with that! We got many tips on what to see, which is also useful. A beach less than 5min drive from the house (a beach where dogs are allowed to run loose! Super !!). For an overprotective dog owner I can honestly say I have never been more comfortable, The yard was very securely fenced and my pup really enjoyed himself. Both dog and owner could fully enjoy a perfect holiday here. Definitely highly recommended

The area is nice, close to Quineville with bakery, biscuterie, eatery on the beach. Many trips are possible from the holiday address. Naturally focused on D-Day: Utah beach, Omaha beach, the bunkers in Azeville, but also other locations such as Bayeux, Mont St Michel, La Hague with the lighthouse (Phare de Goury). We have had a very nice holiday week in Normandy. This is certainly also due to the good care of the owner !!! Highly recommended!

Also during our stay she brought delicacies a number of times. And it's a fantastic place. Wonderfully quiet and less than a 10-minute walk to the sea. A really great location.

Looking back on a fantastic week in Quinéville. What have we enjoyed. The house is an excellent base for visiting beautiful Normandy with its many sights. On arrival at our house we were welcomed by the owner of the house, who also lives on the same property. We have experienced this as very pleasant. We were welcomed with coffee and a homemade cake. The cottage itself was spotless and fully equipped. Dishwasher, washing machine, Senseo, toaster, oven, etc. The cottage exudes atmosphere and warmth and in every room were fresh flowers from their own garden. A beautiful garden that you can also use. We were 4 adults and the cottage was spacious enough. No shortage of closet space either. Spacious bedrooms with really good mattresses. All slept well. Half way through the week, Joanna made us another delicious treat. What lovely people. They answer all your questions and sometimes with a mix of French/English we always managed to get it right. We enjoyed the beautiful Normandie and certainly Joanna and Jacques. And of course from Nikita, the nicest, sweetest and smartest dog in France. We will miss them, but have made dear friends for life.

A wonderful place to relax and be busy. Quineville is small and has very little to offer. And yet again not. It is the calm French daily life that you can immerse yourself in. The market is a must. The whole village is there enjoying tasty things and sniffing between the old and new stuff. It has an unimaginable beach which is 200 meters wide at low tide. Quineville is perfectly located as a base to Cherbourg, Saint Vaast-La Hougue, Montebourg and Valognes. The beginning of the invasion beaches and everything that entails historical highlights is a little further, but the cozy Sainte Mere Eglise is approx. minutes drive. Check if the navigation is not a bit too optimistic. You can just be sent on roads which are really only suitable for jeeps, tanks and tractors. Everything has been thought of and the pleasant and sweet owners are approachable for everything. So does their dog that we spent the necessary playtime with. The apartment offers everything, is super clean and offers all the privacy. We had a wonderful time.

The arrival was very cordial! We have immediately been offered a drink by the Deceire fam. Environment was very beautiful, ie certainly the view. In the town of Quineville was not much to experience, but regarding beach bar and Brasserie you could eat well. That's why we are to other places. The town of Valognes is certainly worth a visit. This gives an impression of indeed small Versailles. It is a shame that we were not allowed to enter the beautiful hotel Beaumont without a guide. As an addition, they are very sympathetic owners of this accommodation! We have never experienced this before .... We We were even allowed to sit down on Friday before our departure for dessert and aperitif with their family.

This holiday home is really "Fantastic" and the landlords even better (see previous reviews, absolutely correct !!). The residence is equipped with all conveniences, private area for parking, complete privacy and a very beautiful environment. We wanted to get acquainted with Normandie and everything there is to see about W.W. II. Well that worked. Everything is very easily accessible, the roads are fine, the French DO drive neatly here, everything is very well indicated on the signs. In short: a more than excellent stay in beautiful surroundings.
