The location of the house is even more beautiful than seen in the photos. Beautiful large plot and unobstructed view of the forests opposite the house. The house is well maintained and everything you need is present. The owner is very friendly and I, as a non-French speaker, could understand reasonably well. The house is certainly large enough for 8 people, but do keep in mind there is only one bathroom. The area is mainly for those seeking peace, tourist attractions are quite a drive away.

The setup here is different, 4 bedrooms mean plenty of space for everyone, Near a swimming lake that the group enjoyed, I can't wait to post some photos from the terrace!

We had a wonderful stay in this charming vacation home! The spacious garden was perfect for the kids to play, and we enjoyed many barbecues on the terrace. The location is quiet, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Highly recommended for families!

The children had a great time in the large garden, which was completely fenced, It was a relief to let them play freely while we enjoyed our coffee on the terrace, A great place for a family vacation!

We enjoy the quiet location and the view from the large terrace over the surrounding meadows. A smaller terrace at the front offers protection from rain and too much sun. Some neighbors we hardly noticed. The two small roads at the foot of the hill on which the house stands are traveled not much. Many hikers come in the summer by the small valley. Lavender shrubs and sage smell at the house and through the sun and rain, and in the grove chirping on warm days the Cigalen. From time to time you can see one of the neighbor cats or dogs, everything is peaceful. From the opposite woods at night you can hear barking bucks or an owl. The Way Cazals past the lake you can walk in 20 minutes on foot, downhill. Back it takes probably longer. We like to drive into the city for shopping and the Sunday market. All dealers are very friendly. Among the shops and supermarkets of Gourdon or Fumel by car it takes about 40 minutes. In such trips we visited wineries on Lot or discovered restaurants that offer some Dutch a very good French cuisine. For romantics many places and palaces or castles have preserved their medieval flair in the Perigord. In all peace
