A nice house in a beautiful beautiful spot. Just outside the village of Thédirac, located on a hill. Therefore a beautiful view. Wonderfully quiet, located on a dead end road. Good shade at the front and more sun at the rear. The veranda was also nice. The shower unfortunately left something to be desired. The thermostatic tap was difficult to regulate.

Lovely house, fully equipped. Very large garden with occasional deer in the garden. If it is too hot in the backyard, you can find a shaded spot in the front yard. Very much privacy.

A wonderful week had in this fine house in Théridac. The owners are very friendly people. They were already waiting for us on arrival. The English-speaking neighbor who normally served as an interpreter was unfortunately prevented, so the granddaughter of the owners came along and explained the most important things. In addition, with a lot of hands and feet what for a lot of hilarity. Despite the language barrier a nice feeling at the reception. That there was a nice bottle of red wine and a jar of foie gras ready for us was of course a treat. The house itself is fully equipped. A nice kitchen with oven, microwave, gas rings, dishwasher, enough pots and pans, coffee maker, kettle and there is even thought of a toaster. The bedrooms both upstairs and downstairs have large wooden shutters in front of the windows so that the rooms stay well dark. We thought this was a plus! The mattress was perfect for us, not too soft and not collapsed. The Wifi has good connection, even if you use two smartphones and a tablet. The pool was still bigger than we thought. We dribbled around with two inflatable airbeds. The swimming pool is cleaned by means of an automatic pump. The flies that do take a dive can be scooped out of the pool with a scoop net.In the environment is also plenty to do.Beetings are good to do in Gourdon, here lie both a Lidl and Intermaché facing each other.Tra traders in the neighborhood view- Cazals, very nice market on Sunday.- Domme, sweet town with a nice market on Thursday- Lauzerte, old knight town- St.-Cirq-Lapopie, just beautiful.- Gouffre de Padirac, very beautiful caves, but in advance tickets to buy. Tickets can be scanned at the cave via your mobile phone.- Rocamadour, good to combine with the caves, you are in the neighborhood and actually you should be at least 1x Rocamadour in your life

If you like peace and quiet and nature and you don't mind traveling a bit for groceries, this is a perfect location. Very spacious land around the house and sometimes deer come into the garden.

Very friendly welcome with a bottle of red wine and a local delicacy of duck.Very nice house with all comfort and lots of space.Enorm quiet location with very large tuin.Kortom recommended for those who love peace.

Warmly received by the owners. Dear people who want to do everything for you. Beautiful house, spacious and lots of space around the house. Located on a dead end road. Nice and calm. The caves of Padirac (in the high season long waiting times at the boat in the cave), Rocomadour and Sarlat are worthwhile. If you want to view Sarlat, you can do this best if there is no market. Domme is a good example of a bastide.

A fine home for rest, situated on a very large area / lawn with pretty views.Very friendly owners, husband and vrouw.Plaats is centrally located for excursions and pleasant villages for lunch. Cahor and Gourdonop 20 km, lively markets.

Beautiful house, beautiful surroundings, very spacious garden with a nice swimming pool, but the bathroom could use a refresh. The house owner is the former mayor and he still has his vegetable garden at the rear of the house, so do not expect 100% privacy. It was agreed that we would leave at 10.00 am, but before 09.00 am the best man was already there, too, by getting started with his motor lawnmower ... Felt quite like "are you ready" ... But apart from this a blissful place

It was a beautiful, complete and clean house. Thanks to the shutters also nice and cool. We enjoyed the pool, it was very warm (35 degrees and more). Very nice hostess and man. We went during "Corona" time. Because it is so remote, this, in combination with the pool, was perfect. We got to know real silence again. Beautiful surroundings with nice towns and villages. Had a great holiday! They scored a "9" in 2018, which we think they should have again.

The fate attracts far fewer tourists while you sit in include the Dordogne. Lots to see, lots of places to swim and do other things sporty and diverse nature. Recommended!

The traditional Dordogne cottage is cozy and well equipped. You have a beautiful view and you can go get bread walking in the village, 1.5 km away. Rarely experienced such friendly French as the landlord and his vrouw. We would, so to speak going back every year if they replace the current two-bed (1.40 m) by a wider bed.Bij had as much rain as we in June, is a good house a condition. It was much better than we expected.

Comfortable, charming home. Spacious terrace (front and rear) with the necessary garden furniture (eg. Two outdoor tables) and baby equipment. Ground pool is a bit small. Quiet location, near beautiful, small village. For shopping you have to drive a few kilometers further. So car is a necessity, but which can be parked or covered. Friendly owners, while respecting privacy. Beautiful setting with beautiful villages \/ towns, nice walks in the not too touristy Lot yet.

Quiet, nice house with 2 along side the possibility of sun or shade to zoeken.Groot (play) grounds beschikbaar.Vriendelijke helpful, French eigenaars.De Lot, Cahors, Rocamandour ... definitely aanraders.Bakker in the village , convenience store 10 km, supermarket 25 km. BBQ worn, falling apart.

Hospitable welcome from the Owners. He is the local Mayor and has a large vegetable plot on the far side of property. It does not overlook the rental property. Comfortable bed. Plenty of garden at front, side and back with two terraces for breakfast lunch and supper. Very under populated area, so blissfully quiet if you are neededing a total break from it 'all'. A stand up circular water tub for cooling off. Maybe they need to have some Mugs for the large coffee drinkers in life. All very small french cups. Two donkeys at the far end of the large gardens..no problem at all. Very quiet. Neighbouring properties around seem to keep Arab horses. I have taken photos of the land. In June it is lovely, with plenty of flowering plants and green lawns. Two separate outside dining tables, two sun loungers which swing back to enable your legs and feet to raise up and relax. Very French inside. Adequate cutlery and crockery. Good sized shoer and bathroom. Separate loo. Basically you are paying for the large outside space and tranquility of the Countryside.

Easy to find and initial impression good. M. Mde Cournac are friendly and welcoming. That said it's probably about time they spent a weekend in their own cottage to assess what needs upgrading for next year.

Friendly owners. Friendly reception . Nice spacious house, all necessary comfort is present. Lord calm surroundings. The only thing you hear is the birds, "at night completely silent. The best house we have rented in the last 10 years. Price / quality definitely ok. Despite the lesser weather the second week had a very enjoyable holiday.

A lovely cottage, quietly situated on a hilltop, with only one neighbor. A breakfast terrace and sun terrace, perfect for getting to enjoy the sun !! A child friendly house with an above ground pool. Very friendly owner who lives in the village of Thédirac. Nice excursions in the neighborhood. In short, value definitely worth it!

2 wonderful weeks staying in this house. Attractive interior, net and clean. The open kitchen is complete. The view is to be silent and that it is therefore; quiet, beautiful view. Beautiful walks in management environment. Owner, Marie of the village and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The English neighbors would not hesitate interpreters language problems. Bakery within walking distance, Catus 5 KM reasonable supermarket. Nice market on Sunday in Cazals. Top Spot!

We really enjoyed the house and the surroundings. The reception was very warm and the people told us about the area and what to do and because they did not speak English they had invited the neighbor. In addition, there is a lot to do in the area, but you have to drive for half an hour and that is also for the groceries. Definitely repeatable if you also like rest.

Called on arrival and within 5 minutes the owner was present. The older couple does not speak a word of English, but with my little French and Google we came out well. The cottage is on a dead end, completely in the silence. We have experienced this as very nice, a week of total rest. The cottage is well furnished, everything is there. Only downside the cot was removed from the shed and smelled like cat pee. The pool is larger than we expected, you fit it with two air mattresses (tip take that)! The bakery is 750 meters away, but a decent climb! The assortment at the bakery was not really great, so we baked our own rolls every morning in the existing oven. In Gourdon (20 min drive) is a Lidl and Carrefour. There are more stores in Cahors (30 min). Cycling in the area is only for advanced, given the hills.

Arrival was fine, warmly received by owner with welcome gift and extensive explanation. Here and there something was missing (few knives, no scissors, pans to replace) but the accommodation itself and the location more than made up for this. Environment and garden were super.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner and his wife, she proudly showed a nice holiday home with a wide view of a slightly sloping terrain. The house is well equipped with everything you need during your vacation. The area is rural and very quiet, exactly what we were looking for.
