The house is beautifully situated with a great view over the landscape and very quiet. The village has about 300 inhabitants, but it has a very great baker! In the house itself, many things are sufficiently available and in good condition. Only the cutlery and wine glasses could be upgraded. The owners take care of everything if anything should be missing - very attentive and very unobtrusive. We consider the house reasonably occupied with a maximum of 6 people - with 10 it might get a bit "sporty" with two toilets, one shower, and one shower bathtub. The property is completely fenced and therefore optimal for dogs.

The accommodation is spacious and perfect for large groups. We appreciated the five cozy bedrooms and the open kitchen design. The living/dining room was a great space for everyone to gather. Additionally, the presence of both a dishwasher and a washing machine made our stay much easier.

We have our family had a fantastic week in the house that is on the edge of the quiet village of Thédirac. The village itself has only a baker. For a supermarket you have to drive about 15 km. We visited among others, Cahors, Sarlat and Rocamadour and also made a canoe trip on the Dordogne.

You will find plenty of peace and space here…. We enjoyed this beautiful holiday home in a very quiet small village, with a lovely pool in the beautiful garden. It is also nice to sit on the various terraces, with beautiful views on all sides. The house is fully equipped, there is everything on and on and is well maintained. Add to that a warm welcome with delicious homemade nut cake from the hospitable owners and your holiday is complete. The owners are incredibly friendly. If there is anything, they are always available. We definitely felt very welcome, definitely worth repeating!

On arrival we collected the keys, and we have a tour of the premises by the owner. The accommodation is well located (30 min from Cahors, 45 min from Rocamadour), the garden is very pleasant and the small village is very quiet which is very relaxing.

Very beautiful and practical villa. Everything was right both inside and outside. Mrs. Delair and her husband also received a very nice welcome. The homemade plum cake was delicious. We have already rented quite a few similar houses in France, but this one is certainly in the top 3. Peace and space and yet also an excellent boulangerie within a few minutes' walk. It is also nice that you can choose whether you sit in front of or behind the house to eat or relax. Highly recommended.

Very friendly hostess, she is rightly very proud of the house. She had made a pizza and pie. The house itself is really equipped with everything you need. Not as often but just 10 plates, here there is more than enough of everything. This house with large swimming pool and very spacious garden is definitely recommended. The house is exactly how it looks in the pictures and is in a beautiful setting however we had been led to believe that the lady who owns the house could speak English. On arrival she said she could speak very little English but insisted on rambling on to us in French which we couldn't understand. She seemed very adamant about certain things particularly showing how little money she received from Belvilla for our booking. That is not want to hear about when you are about to start a much looked forward to holiday! She mentioned about the cleaning but we could not understand everything. On our last day we spent 2 hours sweeping, dusting washing the towels etc but when the lady turned up she ranted and raved at us and swore at us implying it was dirty. We felt we had left it cleaner than when we arrived. She totally ruined ant nice memories we had of our stay at the villa and would certainly not recommend anyone going there!!!!

Were the first tenants of the season. Unfortunately, the weather was cold and the house was cold (17 gr) and damp. Was also moderately cleaned. The bedding was not fresh, and cot and highchair dirty! According to the manager, heating was not possible. Very annoying with a baby of 3 months and a 2 year old! Fortunately, there was a fireplace that helped us solve the problem. The manager received us with strawberry pie, but a fresh and warm house was more enjoyable.

This is a very nice big house which is fully equipped. It is lovely and quiet at the edge of the village with a beautiful view over the valley. However, the village is very small and has very little. A bakery and a small church, keep it up. For shopping you should always end rijden.Wie car is ready bit further to drive, there is much to see in the area (recommended: Rocamadour, St. Cirq Lapopie, caves of Pech Merle, Jardins d 'Eyrignac).

Lovely house, in a friendly village. We were a group of 8, a couple by car and a couple by plane from the Netherlands via Toulouse. Both groups had no problems getting there. Towns Cahors on the Wednesday morning nice market and Gourdon also half an hour's drive from the cottage. Homeowners very friendly and helpful, even when we were a bit early. Swimming pool was neatly maintained every 2 days by Mister, but never had the feeling that you were being watched. The people of the village were also very friendly and the baker taught us some new words of French. Delicious nut cakes and a huge bowl of plums were ready for us, how generous!

The garden was full of flowers and flowering shrubs, all mature plum trees and many butterflies. Also nice for the small dog that it is completely fenced and he could walk around freely. The house is even more beautifully decorated on the inside than we expected from the photos. Outdoor kitchen also really fantastic, there were new sunbeds by the pool and many animals and nature seen. Huge cupboards full of (towel) towels that we were allowed to use and we had no problems with the house. Beds were a bit on the tight side for our tall, large Dutch men, but that was the only comment :) Thanks for the beautiful week, definitely recommended!

Wij hebben enorm genoten van de rust en de groene omgeving! Het huis is gerieflijk, netjes en ruim, het is zalig zitten op het terras met de buitenkeuken, maar evengoed op het ander terras met zicht op het zwembad en de groene omgeving. Je krijgt er instant een vakantiegevoel door! Ook de piano en de stereo waren een aangename verrassing (waar ook de kindjes zich mee geamuseerd hebben). De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk, bereikbaar en behulpzaam (één van de kindjes was ziek en de eigenares heeft ons in contact gebracht met een dokter). Het onthaal was heel warm en vriendelijk, er stond namelijk een zelfgebakken taart klaar :) Kortom, een plekje om zeker nog eens terug naar te keren!

La Pouzaque is a beautiful, quietly located villa with a very nice view of the valley. The villa is well equipped. However, the reception was not as warm as described in the previous reviews. The owner was in a hurry and gave very little explanation about the house and nothing about the area. There is also no information available in the house about possible excursions. What disturbed me the most was that the house had only been cleaned very superficially, everywhere there was still dust, cobwebs, hair in the shower, dead insects, a dirty high chair. My husband is asthmatic and has suffered a lot during the stay. In summary, a very good home for people who are not super critical in terms of hygiene and cleanliness.

A very nice house! Especially the spacious living area and the outdoor area with terrace and pool are great. The location is fantastically quiet - full of rural idyll in a great area. The reception was very nice, although we arrived much too late because of traffic jams. There was a brilliant homemade Mirabellentorte ready for us. The only question mark In the Internet description is something of 1.60 duvets. The beds were in our opinion but significantly narrower, 1.40? We did not mind, for other caliber possibly a bit narrow ... Overall for us a very nice, quiet and relaxing stay. Very satisfied! Recommended!

Received by the owners with a delicious strawberry pie. In French, French was given a tour of the whole house. Cozyly furnished house, fully equipped. When it was a bit colder we could enjoy ourselves in the fireplace, for example. Beautiful outdoor setting with fantastic views and with lovely pool. Baker in the village with delicious bread, but supermarket far away. Only downside there were a lot of flies in the house. House is a bit remote, you have to drive for a while to get there.

Home owners were very hospitable. On arrival there were 2 cakes. In between also spoiled with extras. When something was broken, this was immediately picked up.Groot, beautiful house. Very complete. Towels and bed linen sufficiently available. Lovely pool with a great view. Located in a quiet village with a bakery for the fresh croissants, nice and cozy villages to drive to.

A very nice house! Especially the spacious living area and the outdoor area with terrace and pool are great. The location is fantastically quiet - full of rural idyll in a great area. The reception was very nice, although we arrived much too late because of traffic jams. There was a brilliant homemade Mirabellentorte ready for us. The only question mark In the Internet description is something of 1.60 duvets. The beds were in our opinion but significantly narrower, 1.40? We did not mind, for other caliber possibly a bit narrow ... Overall for us a very nice, quiet and relaxing stay. Very satisfied! Recommended!

Received by the owners with a delicious strawberry pie. In French, French was given a tour of the whole house. Cozyly furnished house, fully equipped. When it was a bit colder we could enjoy ourselves in the fireplace, for example. Beautiful outdoor setting with fantastic views and with lovely pool. Baker in the village with delicious bread, but supermarket far away. Only downside there were a lot of flies in the house. House is a bit remote, you have to drive for a while to get there.

This is a very nice big house which is fully equipped. It is lovely and quiet at the edge of the village with a beautiful view over the valley. However, the village is very small and has very little. A bakery and a small church, keep it up. For shopping you should always end rijden.Wie car is ready bit further to drive, there is much to see in the area (recommended: Rocamadour, St. Cirq Lapopie, caves of Pech Merle, Jardins d 'Eyrignac).

Wij hebben enorm genoten van de rust en de groene omgeving! Het huis is gerieflijk, netjes en ruim, het is zalig zitten op het terras met de buitenkeuken, maar evengoed op het ander terras met zicht op het zwembad en de groene omgeving. Je krijgt er instant een vakantiegevoel door! Ook de piano en de stereo waren een aangename verrassing (waar ook de kindjes zich mee geamuseerd hebben). De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk, bereikbaar en behulpzaam (één van de kindjes was ziek en de eigenares heeft ons in contact gebracht met een dokter). Het onthaal was heel warm en vriendelijk, er stond namelijk een zelfgebakken taart klaar :) Kortom, een plekje om zeker nog eens terug naar te keren!

On arrival we collected the keys, and we have a tour of the premises by the owner. The accommodation is well located (30 min from Cahors, 45 min from Rocamadour), the garden is very pleasant and the small village is very quiet which is very relaxing.

Very friendly hostess, she is rightly very proud of the house. She had made a pizza and pie. The house itself is really equipped with everything you need. Not as often but just 10 plates, here there is more than enough of everything. This house with large swimming pool and very spacious garden is definitely recommended. Ideal for charging your batteries.

Very beautiful and practical villa. Everything was right both inside and outside. Mrs. Delair and her husband also received a very nice welcome. The homemade plum cake was delicious. We have already rented quite a few similar houses in France, but this one is certainly in the top 3. Peace and space and yet also an excellent boulangerie within a few minutes' walk. It is also nice that you can choose whether you sit in front of or behind the house to eat or relax. Highly recommended.

Lovely house, in a friendly village. We were a group of 8, a couple by car and a couple by plane from the Netherlands via Toulouse. Both groups had no problems getting there. Towns Cahors on the Wednesday morning nice market and Gourdon also half an hour's drive from the cottage. Homeowners very friendly and helpful, even when we were a bit early. Swimming pool was neatly maintained every 2 days by Mister, but never had the feeling that you were being watched. The people of the village were also very friendly and the baker taught us some new words of French. Delicious nut cakes and a huge bowl of plums were ready for us, how generous!

The garden was full of flowers and flowering shrubs, all mature plum trees and many butterflies. Also nice for the small dog that it is completely fenced and he could walk around freely. The house is even more beautifully decorated on the inside than we expected from the photos. Outdoor kitchen also really fantastic, there were new sunbeds by the pool and many animals and nature seen. Huge cupboards full of (towel) towels that we were allowed to use and we had no problems with the house. Beautiful house on beautiful location, the "catwalk" at home is a wonderful detail. All well cared for and beautifully spacious pool. Excellent outdoor kitchen with everything on and on. Very warm welcome by owners with no less than two cakes and a bottle of wine. Very highly recommended !!!

We have our family had a fantastic week in the house that is on the edge of the quiet village of Thédirac. The village itself has only a baker. For a supermarket you have to drive about 15 km. We visited among others, Cahors, Sarlat and Rocamadour and also made a canoe trip on the Dordogne.

Were the first tenants of the season. Unfortunately, the weather was cold and the house was cold (17 gr) and damp. Was also moderately cleaned. The bedding was not fresh, and cot and highchair dirty! According to the manager, heating was not possible. Very annoying with a baby of 3 months and a 2 year old! Fortunately, there was a fireplace that helped us solve the problem. The manager received us with strawberry pie, but a fresh and warm house was more enjoyable.

The house is exactly how it looks in the pictures and is in a beautiful setting however we had been led to believe that the lady who owns the house could speak English. On arrival she said she could speak very little English but insisted on rambling on to us in French which we couldn't understand. She seemed very adamant about certain things particularly showing how little money she received from Belvilla for our booking. That is not want to hear about when you are about to start a much looked forward to holiday! She mentioned about the cleaning but we could not understand everything. On our last day we spent 2 hours sweeping, dusting washing the towels etc but when the lady turned up she ranted and raved at us and swore at us implying it was dirty. We felt we had left it cleaner than when we arrived. She totally ruined ant nice memories we had of our stay at the villa and would certainly not recommend anyone going there!!!!

The owner was very friendly. On arrival we were served a delicious cake and flowers. The house is very nice, especially the fireplace was wonderful. We were able to use the swimming pool even though it was already mid-October. It is a wonderfully peaceful environment where you can completely unwind. We had a great holiday.

La Pouzaque is a beautiful, quietly located villa with a very nice view of the valley. The villa is well equipped. However, the reception was not as warm as described in the previous reviews. The owner was in a hurry and gave very little explanation about the house and nothing about the area. There is also no information available in the house about possible excursions. What disturbed me the most was that the house had only been cleaned very superficially, everywhere there was still dust, cobwebs, hair in the shower, dead insects, a dirty high chair. My husband is asthmatic and has suffered a lot during the stay. In summary, a very good home for people who are not super critical in terms of hygiene and cleanliness.

Spacious house in a quiet area with beautiful views. Everything is present and different seating areas inside and outside. We had some bad luck with the weather, so the pool was a bit chilly. Bakery at 300 meters, other facilities 15 minutes drive.

You will find plenty of peace and space here…. We enjoyed this beautiful holiday home in a very quiet small village, with a lovely pool in the beautiful garden. It is also nice to sit on the various terraces, with beautiful views on all sides. The house is fully equipped, there is everything on and on and is well maintained. Add to that a warm welcome with delicious homemade nut cake from the hospitable owners and your holiday is complete. The owners are incredibly friendly. If there is anything, they are always available. We definitely felt very welcome, definitely worth repeating!

We had a great stay in this house over Christmas. Very nice house, well equipped and clean. The central fireplace is a real treat this season. Very friendly welcome from the owners. We highly recommend this rental.
