Is a beautiful house with swimming pool. You will be warmly welcomed by Mrs. and she gives a reasonable explanation of how the shutters and the alarm work - the rest is something you can figure out yourself. The beds are good and firm, but on the small side for us, especially because they have a high footboard at the end, so the long legs cannot hang over them, but have to go to the side.

The house is full of all kinds of knickknacks and some cupboards are so full that you hardly dare to open them because everything could fall out (impression you get) Especially the kitchen cupboards are bomb full and so there is little space to store your own groceries can store - which is a shame because it gives a bit of an overall chaotic impression while it is a great house. As the English would say "less is more".

Please note that you have to pay separately for electricity. In itself this is not a problem, but we found / find the house an energy guzzler. In the Netherlands, where we use about 200-250 kWh in energy per month (and this includes the use of our air conditioning), you only use this house per week. Furthermore, a price of € 0.45 per kWh is charged, while there is a price ceiling in France of € 0.23 per kWh and the variable rate at the time of writing is even € 0.17 per kWh. So there is a lot to do at the end of the holiday.

Partly because of the beautiful weather we have had two great weeks at this home.We enjoyed the private pool and lovely garden and of course the beautiful surroundings with towns like Saint Cirq Lapopie, Rocamadour, Vert, Puy Leveque etc, etc. . It should be a more beautiful than the ander.Prima restaurants close by as toppers for us l 'Hostellerie Goujounac and Vieux Cahors in Cahors The Intermarché in Espère handle all daily shopping and fine bread but for the best éclairs and religieuses (cake) you go to the bakery in Mercuès on approx.3 km from the huis.Kajakken on the lot is nice but on Cele's much leuker.In Espère itself is not much to do but is located in a beautiful setting in which direction you also rijdt.Al in all a very enjoyable holiday!

Friendly welcome. Garden was very messy, unfenced pool. Was clearly stated when booking that our dogs were allowed in the pool, but this did not appear appropriate.

The apartment is well equipped with everything one needs on vacation. Large flowered garden and pool area is beautiful, very quiet. We are sorry that there is no baker in the village itself, but you can get bread in the intermarche a km away. Owner is very helpful and friendly. Ie a recommended holiday on Topic Travel.

We had a great holiday in this beautiful holiday home in the Lot. The enormous and above all green garden and the large pool were really great! The village Espere, however, has little to offer. For that you have to Cahors. Most attractions in the Lot are also further away (on average an hour drive), but the trip over there and back is more than worth it. Tip: Pre-book your tickets for a visit to a cave (eg Padirac)!

Attractive and nicely renovated cottage. Unfortunately too cold and too small pool. Roquemaure was a terrible place for us where we always lost our way in the deserted, neglected streets. Perfect for great excursions in the area. Unfortunately, many mosquitoes, even during the day.

Good reception by Portuguese owner. It was a disappointment that we had to close the pool every evening and lash the whole thing up and then open the whole thing again every morning ... It was very hot, up to 41 g, and the house remained nice and fresh . This house was much cheaper than the previous houses we rented from Topic and that was noticeable. Whether it really makes sense that our rented sheets were full of holes?

We hebben drie heerlijke weken gehad met mooi weer. Alice, de gastvrouw, is vriendelijk en bereikbaar voor vragen. Het huisje kan wel een opfrisbeurt gebruiken, het is erg gehorig en de kasten staan vol met spullen. Het zwembad is heerlijk en wordt automatisch schoongemaakt. De omheining rondom het huisje biedt veel privacy. In het dorp is weinig te beleven, maar met de auto kom je op veel leuke plekken en markten in de buurt
