A comfortable detached holiday home on a private estate. Wonderfully quiet location at the end of a dead-end country road, just outside Montrichard. "Domaine Les Drageonnières" (4.5 ha) consists of two comfortable holiday homes (La Bergerie and La Ferme) and a beautifully situated, shared swimming pool (12 x 5 m, deep 1.00 - 2.40 m with salt water). This little paradise is very suitable for e.g. two families going on holiday together. But of course also very suitable for renting one of the two houses individually. The enormous garden offers plenty of privacy.
You will stay in "La Bergerie" (left on the aerial photo). The interior is neatly arranged and equipped with modern comfort. The 3 bedrooms each have two single beds (2.10 m long). The garden furniture is ready at your house and you can enjoy the beautiful view over the meadow, the vineyard, forests and the Cher Valley. At the back is a small, provisionally fenced pond.
Should you be able to detach yourself from this beautiful spot, you will see that the surrounding area is definitely worth a visit. Montrichard (2 km) has a cosy medieval town centre with one of the oldest castles in France. The castles of Chenonceau (12 km) and Amboise (20 km) are impressive. In Bourré (4 km), you can visit old wine cellars. In Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher (20 km) there is a zoo. Tours (48 km) and Blois (34 km) are also worth a visit.

Magnificent environment bordered by forest and vineyard. Peaceful and close to nature. The house is ultra comfortable, spacious and everything is available. The pool was super nice!

Beautiful comfortable and comfortable house. Beautiful domain with vineyard, fruit trees, swimming pool ... Friendly welcome with extensive explanation. Beautiful surroundings: close to the town but still in complete tranquility and in the middle of nature. Exceeded expectations!

A wonderful place! Peace, beautiful views, various activities in the area that we enjoyed as a family. Castle visit, canoeing, typical French culture, such as wine tasting, villages in the area, restaurants. Thereby a lovely house with all the trimmings. A lovely swimming pool. Shops nearby, such as bakery, supermarkets. The reception was well organized and we could always ask questions.

A week at Domaine les Drageonnières a week living like God in France with a historic flavor. Living like god because of the friendly nature of the property, the paradise garden with pool, panoramic views and extremely friendly beheerders.Historisch because of all the chateaux in the immediate area, with Chambord, Chenonseaux and the house of death of Leonardo da Vinci as hoogtepunten.Kortom a Highly recommended for those who want to combine relaxation and culture!

We were received neatly and on time by the manager. The house is in great condition and spacious. The kitchen has a lot of kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery: very handy. The swimming pool is fantastic. We have rented bikes and cycled a lot. Also canoeed and visited castles. The area is beautiful.

had a wonderful week. Lovely pool, great house. We have done the safari train, very nice if you love animals. And the mini-castles + aquarium, were also very nice, with our children 10 and 12 years.
