My family and I enjoyed exploring the nearby medieval villages, especially Saint-Cyprien, which is just a few minutes' drive away. The living room was comfortable and well-equipped, perfect for our needs.

This holiday home is a hidden gem! It was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for our family. We especially enjoyed the outdoor terrace, where we savored our morning coffee while admiring the beautiful landscape. The nearby grocery store was convenient for replenishing supplies, and we had dinner at a restaurant just a short drive away.

The views of the rolling landscapes were simply mesmerizing, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby castles and medieval villages. We loved our stay in this Périgord house! It had just the right space for our family of four and the kids really enjoyed the garden. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals, which saved us a bit of money. The location is excellent for exploring the Dordogne, with castles and charming villages just a short drive away. The only downside was that there was no WiFi, but honestly, it was nice to disconnect a bit. I would definitely recommend it for a family getaway!

The host was supposed to return to the gite with a kettle as the one that was there was broken.... but he did not return so we spent three weeks with no kettle. The bbq which was stated on information was completely broken so of no use. The whole gute was plagued with cobwebs and dust everywhere. The owner made excuses saying in his very broken English that "it is the country " well we have lived in the country and didn't have dirt and cobwebs everywhere.

I spent a fantastic week holiday in this house in Berbiguière, the hosts are absolutely charming, the house in a quiet environment in an exceptional green.Pictures do not do justice to the nature surrounding the rental! Several hiking trails are accessible from the house and if you are not afraid to walk a little you can follow a GR that will take you soaking your feet in the Dordogne!

Clean and comfortable accommodation, The house is well-furnished and has a nice, cozy feel, We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen as we cooked some meals together, It is somewhat remote, but that adds to the charm and tranquility.

A very nice very quiet area. But the house is very sober and very dirty. Not suitable for a winter stay as there is no heating. The wood for the fireplace that would be present is just enough for 2 days, but must be sawn or chopped yourself. The first 2 days there was no water. Fortunately that has been resolved. It is wise to bring your own bedding, that leaves much to be desired.

Very pleasant little house, too bad the cleaning is not done on arrival because for the price I do not find it normal to be obliged to do a complete cleaning of the house and to remove the large spider webs on the windows and that a small freezer would be welcome in a summer region and not be able to buy ice cream since there is nothing to keep them.

We had a pleasant stay in this holiday home. Although it was not overly luxurious, it was clean and functional, with enough space for our family. The children enjoyed the garden and we prepared some nice family meals in the kitchen. The proximity to local attractions like the Gardens of Marqueyssac was also a plus. Would recommend for an uncomplicated, relaxed holiday.

On the positive side, the kids had a lot of fun playing in the garden, and nearby attractions like Castelnaud Castle were just a short drive away. Overall, a good place for a family vacation.

Major aesthetic points, Perfect for family hangs or relaxing with friends, Also super close to all the cool medieval places, Totally recommend canoeing in Siorac-en-Périgord, it's different!

Fantastic location for a family getaway! The proximity to the Valley of the Castles made our excursions so easy, The house itself was spacious, and the garden area was great for our kids to play, We even had a barbecue one evening, which was a highlight!
