This quaint holiday home in St-Laurent-sur-Mer has a terrace or a balcony where you can lounge and relish a delicious meal. The house has 3 bedrooms that can accommodate 5 people of a family or a group comfortably.
On the beach just 2 km away you can indulge in various water sport and enjoy a soothing stroll on the wet sand. Pay homage to the brave by visiting the American WWII cemetery located 2 km away. Nice house half an hour's walk from Omaha Beach. "t is an old house, therefore here and there crooked. Big enough for a family of 4 people.

Nice house nicely furnished. Beds a bit tight, good shower. Reception was neatly arranged. 20 min walk from Omaha beach

Great base for visits to the D-day spots. Omaha beach is ~12min walk. The house is neat, but with the French style. We like that, not everything has to be "perfect". Kitchen is neat and complete, and there is a nice private terrace behind the house. Bedrooms are fine, beds on the small side for 1.95m tall family members .... Value for money is excellent.

The gîte sits tightly on a very busy road, just behind a curve, which has a lot of traffic on its way to and from Omaha Beach from early morning (6am) to late at night (11pm), including many, many coaches. Traffic almost literally drives over the dining room table. Partly because of this, not recommended for families with young children, or very careful that the kids do not accidentally walk out the front door without an adult. The very narrow and steep stairs to the upper floor can also be a "thing" for both young children and the elderly, especially at night because there is only a toilet downstairs. In any case, many steps up and down between the different rooms.
Bedrooms are spacious and the beds are good. Bathroom is good. Kitchen is reasonably well equipped and sitting at the dining table you have a great view of the passing coaches. In the evening the headlights of the traffic shine straight in, so close the shutters early. The patio garden offers a lot of privacy and there is good garden furniture. WiFi good.
Please note: The restaurant next door is not always open for dinner out of high season. By the way, you get good food for a reasonable price.

The house is suitable for max 5 adults. What is disappointing is that it is located on a busy thoroughfare. Furthermore, the house was not clean on arrival, such as cutlery and cutlery, toilet and shower drain turned out to be clogged.
