Le Domaine des Dunettes enjoys a quiet location at about 500 m from the shops and restaurants and about 800 m from the lively sandy beach. Cabourg has a long tradition as seaside resort; its many Belle Epoque buildings are a reminder of that. An ideal area for a (short) city and beach trip.
The residence features a reception, an outdoor pool with children's area and loungers, a playground and a central car park.

Cabourg is an old seaside resort on the coast of Normandy with many Belle Epoque buildings. This part is also called the Flower Coast (La Côte Fleurie) with photogenic coastal resort Honfleur as its shining highlight.
Enjoy the city of Cabourg in all its facets and the beauty of this interesting region. In the surrounding area, you can enjoy all kinds of water sports, golf and tennis.
Nearby posh Deauville (approx. 15 km) offers many different activities like international events, horse races, a golf course, luxurious boutiques, the casino, parties and festivals, as well as interesting monuments and architecture. "Les Planches", the wooden boulevard of Deauville, is perfect for a beautiful walk.
The area of Normandy is known for its invasion beaches from WWII. A visit to the American cemetery near Omaha Beach is a must. The Mémorial de Caen (an impressive museum about WWII) is also worth a visit.
Normandy is also the area of Camembert, (apple) cider and Calvados; you could also visit a cheese farm or a distillery.

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Domaine des Dunettes! The apartment was cozy and clean, and we had all the kitchen things we needed to cook. The balcony was a nice touch for morning coffee. Also, being so close to Plage de Cabourg was a hit; we loved walking to the beach. The outdoor pool was also refreshing, although we wished it were a little bigger. Overall, a lovely place for a family getaway!

A pleasant and simple experience, The apartment was spacious and clean, equipped with all the essential elements we needed for a family vacation, We appreciated the proximity to local dining options: the Bar Restaurant le Véga was around the corner! Overall, a good base for exploring the area.

We were definitely NOT satisfied with "Les dunnetes". We were a total of 4 adults and 1 child. We have received a very dirty apartment. Hardly any storage space, so we had to live out of our suitcase all week long. The bathroom was really a shame! A shower with hardly any water. The water just ran all over the bathroom and so to the living room. We had to pull the water into the well while taking a shower with the drain. Very sorry to have to go on vacation like that. Internet (= which barely works) and television can be paid separately. Absolutely not price / quality!
