The villa itself was in perfect order. Truly nothing to complain about. Mr. Delcher was very friendly and very accessible during our stay. 10/10 for the villa and Mr. Delcher! Only the surroundings did not appeal to us much. Very little to do in Les Vans....

The mandatory 80 euros for cleaning is way too much. When we arrived, there were still many cobwebs and urine next to the toilet. There was also a lot of dust on the air conditioning, and the lighting by the bed in the bedroom did not work. It is really not suitable for dogs. The domain is not fully enclosed, which would only require a small effort from the owner to fix. The rock and stone garden looks nice but is life-threatening for both humans and animals. This has not been thought through. The umbrellas in the photos have now become permanent structures, so you no longer have the freedom to choose whether you want to lie in the sun or not. The unheated pool was way too cold and not really clean, so swimming was not an option. We also did not have the expected peace that we anticipated because they are building nearby. No, we will not come back here, even though the owner was quite nice.

We just came back from a week in this villa and honestly, it was perfect for our getaway. The private pool was a great place to relax after exploring the area. We also visited a few local restaurants in Les Vans, which were quite good! The only downside was the slightly unstable WiFi, but overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back!

Het huisje komt overeen met de beschrijving. Jean-Hugues is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De omgeving is zeer mooi, je kan vanuit het huisje zeer mooie wandelingen maken. Zwembadje is heerlijk om af te koelen. Wat ik gemist heb is toch een aantal schoonmaakmiddelen, wij zaten er 3 weken en dan wil ik toch echt wel even tussendoor de wc poetsen bijv. En een airco op de slaapkamers zou ook fijn zijn maar op deze twee mini kritiekpuntjes na, een zeer goed verblijf!

The owner takes all the time to welcome you warmly and you will receive all the information you need about the house & the region. The cottage itself is comfortable, there is free wifi and (a gradually indispensable) air conditioning, but the highlight is what you find outside: there is a platform with a lounger & a hanging chair, ideal for enjoying the view in the evening, there is a table with chairs and there is a small pool with sun loungers.I thought this was a wonderful place to enjoy the peace and beauty of this part of France for 14 days.

We had a friendly host as a contact person. However, air conditioning would be desirable in summery temperatures and Fensehkanäle on the existing three devices are available only in French. The garden with a small and well maintained pool is beautiful, is surrounded by nature and has a wonderful view over the surrounding landscape due to the hillside location. Ideal for pets, although not completely fenced. We thank you for a wonderful holiday.

It is fantastic here, beautiful surroundings, nice market on Saturday, large supermarket within an hour's drive, nice sunny weather, lots of privacy, clean, we are staying for a few more days, so we still have a lot on the schedule!

Those looking for peace and quiet in the busy south of the Ardèche have come to the perfect place. On top of a mountain on the edge of Les Vans you will find this holiday home with a beautiful view of this part of the wooded mountain range of the Cevennes. The owner takes all the time to welcome you warmly and you will receive all the information you need about the house & the region. The cottage itself is comfortable, there is free wifi and (a gradually indispensable) air conditioning, but the highlight is what you find outside: there is a platform with a lounger & a hanging chair, ideal for enjoying the view in the evening, there is a table with chairs and there is a small pool with sun loungers.I thought this was a wonderful place to enjoy the peace and beauty of this part of France for 14 days.
