The kids loved the garden! They played in the children's house while we enjoyed wine by the pool. Plenty of space for everyone, which made our family time even better.

We had such a wonderful time in this villa! The garden was a dream and the children loved splashing in the private pool. The location is peaceful, but close enough to the charming town of Les Vans for a quick visit to the market.

Be aware that you won’t find towels, soap or even toilet paper. And you will be charged for bed linen. It’s simply outrageous that a villa costing €3000 does not supply basic amenities that you would expect to find in the cheapest B&B. Nor was communication between the central booking and the local agent good. In all other respects the house was admirable and once we had adjusted to the shock we had a good time. When I complained about the inhospitable welcome at the time I was told ‘it is the custom.’ It’s about time the custom changed.

The house is great with lots of space and privacy all around. We enjoyed the spacious swimming pool and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was useful. The house offers all conveniences and a spacious kitchen where you can enjoy cooking. It is remote and the road to it is a bit tight with oncoming traffic, but it is manageable and Les Vans is close by. You come here for your rest and then you can enjoy your holiday here. There are also disadvantages, tiger mosquitoes (August) from 7 p.m. so eating quietly outside is really not fun, in the living room there is no real sitting area but an old garden set, is not comfortable and looks cheap. The installation of the swimming pool is located in the garage and it makes a lot of noise, you should actually place something like that in a separate storage room or make the garage soundproof. You can really hear that in the house ... Furthermore, wifi moderate and not accessible everywhere, but had found a wifi extender and then it was much better. Anyway, those are luxury problems and is it really value for money. Have seen much more expensive homes that were in worse condition. All in all a must for people who are looking for peace, privacy and some comfort!

Just back from our stay and I can't say enough good things! The villa was super clean and had everything we needed. The private pool was a highlight for us, especially after hiking in the beautiful Ardèche area. We spent evenings on the terrace with a nice bottle of wine, the view was just breathtaking. The only downside was the barbecue rules, but we managed to keep it tidy. Would absolutely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!
