Incredible stay! The private pool was a real treat after a day exploring the surrounding castles. The kids loved it and so did we. The only downside was that the WiFi was a bit temperamental at times, but overall, a fantastic place to relax.

We had an amazing time! The heated pool was wonderful, especially after a long day of exploring local castles. The interior of the house had a charming rustic vibe, and we appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. A lovely place to relax with friends, and the nearby zoo was a hit with the kids.

The property was spacious and well-maintained, with a cozy fireplace that made the evenings special. At first, it was a bit difficult to find, but once we settled in, we loved the peaceful surroundings. Close enough to Thizay for shopping, but far enough to feel isolated.

What a wonderful getaway! The house was beautifully decorated and very spacious for our family of five. The private pool was a hit, perfect for sunny afternoons. We also enjoyed barbecue evenings on the terrace. The proximity to Château de Chinon was a great day trip. Highly recommend!

Overall a pleasant stay, The country house is well equipped and clean, The location is quiet but close to the center of Thizay, making it easy to shop or dine locally, The children loved the pool and the fruit trees in the garden were a nice addition.

The country house in Thizay exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and very comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The private pool was a great addition, and the nearby restaurants offered delicious meals. A great base for exploring the Loire Valley!

Pleasant holiday home, beautiful quiet location and large swimming pool. All amenities available, well-equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms ideal for teenagers, good beds. Baker who comes to the house. The downside was that the roof of the swimming pool was very heavy to open manually, even if there was an aid (especially with 2 people). The house is not suitable for the disabled due to the many stairs. A plus would also be insect screens on windows to sleep with windows open at night (lots of mosquitoes). Otherwise an address to definitely remember!

The house is lovely, the location is beautiful. The information in advance is a little too little. Bed, bath and kitchen linen is very little if you have to wash the towels yourself. That is not a bad thing to do, there is just no dryer so you are dependent on the weather. And in the information it says that there is a bakery at 600 meters. That turns out to be a vending machine that produces fine baguettes, but no croissants. For that, we had to drive to the next village

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We got a quick tour, everything was fine. The house is equipped with every modern comfort. Only air conditioning would have been a nice extra. When we were there it was 40 ° and in the room above it was impossible to sleep from the heat. The downstairs room was still quite cool due to the thick walls. There are many castles along the Loire to visit in the area. You can also walk nicely. It is very quiet.

The house is situated on a hill overlooking a field full of sunflowers, near the tiny farming village of Thizay. This is really France. It takes a while to find the house, but it also has its charm. The house is large (two separate rooms, each with its own bathroom) and fully furnished. And the pool makes it complete! The area is beautiful, you can walk or make beautiful bike rides along the Vienne and the Loire. The cozy town of Chinon with its numerous restaurants is around 10 km away. We visited Angers by car (the tapestries in the castle!) And Chenonceau, among others. Keep in mind that there is no internet connection in the house. No WiFi, and no mobile internet. For internet you have to walk a few meters down the path. It is actually nice not to have to constantly look at your smartphone! The connection is good in Chinon and other villages.

Het was een fantastisch huis, heel sfeervol en gezellig, ruim en schoon, echt heel fijn. En het zwembad was heerlijk! Ook het uitzicht en de tuin was heel mooi. De overkapping met goede BBQ bleek een uitkomst: op regenachtige dagen zaten we er toch nog gezellig, en alles smaakte op deze BBQ zoveel lekkerder dan thuis:). Een heerlijke plek, met enorm vriendelijke host.
