Staying in Beaumont-en-Véron was great value for us. We found everything we needed close by, from groceries to restaurants, making our trip easy and enjoyable.

This place offers more privacy than typical accommodations. It’s nice to have your own space and still be just minutes away from town and attractions.

After a friendly welcome, we enjoyed a beautiful house just like in the photos. In a very quiet area, where unfortunately there are no fresh rolls available in the morning. But this is compensated by the very well-equipped kitchen. A nice seating area outside with sun and shade. There is also a garage that fits a reasonable car. We had the bikes, which then no longer fit. It is a beautiful area with lovely cycling routes where you can visit many castles but also cycle through the vineyards. A point of attention is that there is no air conditioning. The bed is very low to the ground with a thin hard mattress; the owner indicated that he would replace it. Furthermore, there are only 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels available, which is minimal for one week. In short, a lovely house to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings at a very reasonable price.

Beautiful, spacious house but too small and too low beds. Many saucepans and only one pan with lid present. Information regarding tourist activities dates back to the year jug and information regarding important telephone numbers, opening times and location of shops, etc. is completely missing.

The house is spacious and clean, with a lovely private garden where we could barbecue in the evenings. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare our meals. Supply is not a problem because the supermarket is also very close and huge. You will find everything you need in one place. All difficult point is that you have little pots and then make all the goodies smoothly finished the messages. But with some patience and a good Loire wine as an aperitif on the beautiful terrace is all still good. We could feast to your heart. The fact that the garden is enclosed, it is reassuring if you have children playing.

Our first impression on arrival was very positive. Our host was very welcoming and the property appeared to have everything needed and all the walls looked as if they had just been decorated. However, it quickly became obvious that it was lacking in basic comfort. The double bed had a thin mattress that was very lumpy and uneven and just very uncomfortable and added to that, it was too low; it seemed old and cheap. 3 reviewers, when asked for any negative comments on another website, Booking.com, where this property was listed, wrote: Sept 2024 The double bed has to be replaced a.s.a.p. It is uncomfortable and noise. July 2024 Schlechte Betten, die bei jedem Umdrehen quitschen Sept 2023 die Betten bzw das Lattenrost. Despite a reported problem with the bed(s), nothing appears to have been done to rectify it. The next problem was the seating, again, totally comfortless. One small double seater sofa, very uncomfortable (you just sink into it) and 3 single seats – just look at these single seats in the photos. Would anyone want to sit on them all evening? – added to that, there were bits of fabric peeling off them. My wife and I have rented 19 properties in France & Germany since retirement, and dozens more prior to that in England and Wales, several with Belvilla – we are experienced renters and we know what level of comfort to expect - this did not come close to it. Until these issues are addressed, we could not recommend this property.

The house was clean and had all the necessary things, like a washing machine and a grill, which was great for our evening meals. I liked that it felt secluded, but still close to the city for shopping and restaurants. The only thing was that the check-in time seemed a bit tight, but overall I would definitely recommend it for a peaceful getaway!
