Villa with private pool, views of the Ventoux

The house received mostly very good reviews which influenced our decision to stay here.What we found in the circumstances came as a great surprise,this place is tired,is severely lacking in TLC! and requires some serious renovation and attention to detail from the owners. On the plus side, the view was spectacular and the pool was fine, however, accessing the house which involves climbing up a steep concrete path and steps, was exhausting( no mention of this prior to arriving). It was unclean, some utensils and cutlery hadn't been properly cleaned,the b-b-q was greasy with no means of lighting it provided, neither were there any b-b-q tools to be found.The shower floors were slippery and when wet, the bathroom floor tiles were also slippery, but no floor mats provided!The owners choose not to provide bed linen or towels inclusive in the letting charge, can't help but feel that this sums up their approach to letting, meaning to provide these each letting is just too much trouble! Clearly a lot of effort needs to go into this place to bring it up to modern standards.

This villa is a great choice for families. The children enjoyed the swing set, and we appreciated the bunk bed in the children's room. The living area was large enough for everyone to relax together.
