Life around Costa Cálida naturally happens outdoors, and this villa near El Algar is built for exactly that kind of stay. Designed for up to 12 guests across six bedrooms, the house works especially well for larger families or groups of friends who want beach days, outdoor dinners, and enough space to settle into a slower Mediterranean routine.
The villa combines traditional Spanish character with practical comforts for longer stays, including air-conditioned bedrooms, private bathrooms for every bedroom, WiFi, and generous outdoor spaces that quickly become the centre of the holiday. The swimming pool and surrounding terrace make it easy to spend entire afternoons outside without feeling the need to leave, while the barbecue and outdoor dining area work particularly well after returning from the coast. Beaches along the Costa Cálida can be reached in around 15 minutes by car, and supermarkets and restaurants in El Algar are close enough for easy evening grocery runs.
Mar Menor sits approximately 15 minutes away and is one of the best places in the region for calm-water sailing, paddleboarding, and family beach days. Playa de Calblanque, around 24 minutes from the villa, offers a quieter stretch of protected coastline with hiking trails and less crowded beaches. Cartagena can be reached within 20 to 30 minutes and is worth visiting for its Roman Theatre, harbour views, and old-town restaurants. Murcia city lies around 40 minutes away and is best explored slowly through Plaza de las Flores and the cathedral district. La Manga Golf Club is approximately 16 km from the property.

The pool was empty, the owner informed us at the moment of handing us the keys, that it was for maintenance reasons. But the pool was one of the reasons we chose the house - so having the pool empty has been a disappointment for everyone, and the owner told us "it's not hot enough to swim," when that's a matter for each person, and I assure you that the kids would have swum, it was hot. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

If you're looking for a spacious getaway, this villa is it! We came with friends and found plenty of room for everyone, The kitchen was well-equipped, which made cooking our meals enjoyable, The outdoor kitchen was a great addition for barbecues, Overall, a lovely place for a group retreat!
