Very nice hosts, quiet location and clean apartment for 2 people with everything you need for a relaxing active holiday (hiking, bike tours with your own bike).

There are a lot of green sheets available, perfect for hiking. Furthermore, you can relax while bathing. The food itself is varied, as many local available.

Monica, the owner is very friendly and welcomes you. She gave us a tour and explanation. If they had any questions, she would be happy to answer them. The apartments have all the needs themselves the primitive TV of the Photos have already been replaced by and flat.We had a size dog with us, this she found no problem. Monica loves dogs but there were appointments (which were very self-explanatory) due to other guests. She appreciated our privacy and was not in our apartment during our stay. New toilet rolls or other things we needed had them in the morning during her cleaning round left behind the door for us.2 min points there is a water heater so you can not shower long and the beds are not the most comfortable but We slept well!

The apartment is simple but satisfying. The helpfulness of frau Firn goes too far. She came clean while we were having breakfast and said blandly that we just had to pretend she was not there. Privacy is not her thing. Also in the next few days as we were away she came into our apartment and for instance did the dishes. Very sweet, only they did this without warning. Without so we knew there was someone in our apartment, not like the idea. All in all it seems like frau Firn would rather not rent her house. We got at all an explanation and instructions for use, perhaps somewhat exaggerated when you do not want your tablecloth is dirty .. Also a day before our departure, the house was already prepared for the new guests, rugs in the bathroom were all gone example . Kind of weird if we just sit there. Frauenwald is a heaven for hikers, but if you want to do something else, then choose another destination. Incidentally Suhl and Erfurt are worth a visit.

We were warmly and lovingly received by Monica and Klaus. The cottage, which we had a large portion of the upper floor was well cared for, clean and complete. Very much enjoyed the surroundings, with tips from the owners. Went to the aquarium on a rainy day. Highly recommended, and not far away. Overall had a good time in Frauenwalk and worth a second visit.

What we first noticed was the peace and quiet, hilly area heerlijk.Mooie with peaks up to 950 m. Ideal for wandelen.Genoeg opportunities to visit and trips to maken.Restaurant at 300 m. Delicious food with ample food card and also another very reasonable geprijsd.En our Hostess and Host are very helpful engezellige people you also have a nice about everything it can talk while enjoying a drankje.Jan and Paula, Netherlands

The owner is very friendly, indicates that if there is something that we can contact, and also helps if something happens (we had an accident with a crate that fell apart with some broken beer bottles as a result, but she already came right and indicated that she would clean it up and take care of it.) She also came unsolicited with extra towels and toilet paper twice in the week we were there. The accommodation is fairly small, but great for two people. Furthermore, provided everything if you at least do not want to cook very extensively. The only disadvantage is that you have to do a bit of economical with warm water. The area is very nice for walking. It is handy to bring a hiking map. Certainly a walk around the weir is recommended. We have also seen deer there. There are plenty of restaurants in the village and you can also eat very well there. A good choice in that regard too.
