This cosy holiday home is located in Exdorf, a district of Grabfeld in southern Thuringia. The nearby meadows, fields and forests immediately put you in a relaxed holiday mood. The living and sleeping rooms are accessible via a steep staircase. Enjoy some quiet hours in the winter garden while the children play in the garden. A spacious garden with a lawn for sunbathing and a barbecue completes the offer of this beautiful house. In the annex, the owner's house, there is a games room (attic) and a cosy cellar bar, which can be shared. The near-natural location invites you to extended hikes. A hike to the Großer or Kleiner Gleichberg near Römhild is particularly recommended, and you can also visit the Steinsburgmuseum on the traces of the Celts. Further destinations for excursions include: Meiningen (18 km), sandstone cave in Walldorf (25 km), marine aquarium Zella-Mehlis (35 km), Oberhof (40 km).

Pure relaxation! During our 10-day stay, we felt very comfortable all around. The beautiful and well-kept large garden with play equipment for children invites you to relax. Just sit in the garden and enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature. The lovingly furnished holiday home is big enough for a family with 2 children. Parking is available directly at the house. Our excursion highlights with children were: The small Gleichberg, sandstone cave / fairy tale cave, fairy tale forest, pottery visit and the great garden - we would come back anytime!

Wir verbrachten eine schöne 10 Tage hier, ein sehr komfortables und einladendes Ferienhaus, mit den aufmerksamsten und rücksichtsgemäßen Besitzern. Das Haus ist perfekt in wunderschöner Landschaft gelegen, aber mit ausgezeichneten Annehmlichkeiten in der Nähe, und Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Erfurt, Eisenach, Weimar und zahlreiche Schlösser sind leicht zu erreichen. Wir empfehlen! We spent a lovely 10 days here, a very comfortable and welcoming holiday home, with the most attentive and considerate owners. The home is perfectly placed in beautiful countryside, but with excellent amenities nearby, and places of interest such as Erfurt, Eisenach, Weimar and numerous castles are within easy reach. We recommend!

We were able to implement individual travel requests and were warmly welcomed. Many thanks to the friendly host family and your welcome gift. The house is big enough for a family with 2 children. We stayed there very well with 2 children (2 and 6 years old). It is very lovingly decorated, you immediately feel comfortable and can relax. A huge highlight is the large garden with an area for the children to play, move around and just have fun. Parking is possible directly at the house entrance, very convenient to load and unload. In the vicinity you will find great playgrounds - one in the village, about 2 minutes on foot - one in the neighboring village of "Jüchsen", a real children's paradise (open March to October). Shopping: possible in Jüchsen (teegut, baker, butcher, etc.) Römhild is also highly recommended, nice ambience, restaurants and a great riding stable (we went horse riding there, really a great event for children) - thanks to dear Mrs. Hanus , she organized the riding lesson, really great! We can also recommend the best soft ice cream in Themar in the "Blaufuss" ice cream parlor. Try it yourself. We were thrilled. Further surroundings: Zoo Erfurt, sandstone cave / fairy tale cave Meiningen, Saalfeld fairy grottoes, Suhl zoo, Behrungen (former German / German border) and much more is offered by the Thuringian Forest and in Exdorf with the Hanus family You a central location to start many beautiful excursions.

The road that goes there from Jüchsen is in very good condition. The house is very easy to identify when you arrive in Exdorf and according to the instructions of the owners. The house is very nice, with the typical style of the region. It is not new but very well maintained. Even if the furniture is not very modern - would not fit so well anyway - the apartment is cozy and well furnished. The large garden with lots of opportunities for children to play is a little relaxation paradise, the nature in the area, the excursions, the peace and the warmth and friendliness of the house owners are the best arguments for us and what made our stay so nice.
