Holiday home of the highest class!

We really enjoyed our stay at Haus Steinsburg. Everything you need to make your holiday unforgettable is available in and around the house! We have already experienced several holiday homes - none were like this one - simply wonderful! The communication with the Gundelwein family was also very friendly and accommodating. We have already booked for next year.

We met with friends in the beautiful, cozy, and very well-equipped house of Mr. Gundelwein. Communication with him was uncomplicated and fast. We had a nice time in this wonderfully located, very lovingly furnished house, in the middle of nature, with a charming, very well-maintained outdoor area. From there you can start hiking in the surrounding area or travel by car to many interesting places. We would like to thank Mr. Gundelwein again very much and will be happy to come back.

Come in and feel good in a dream location

We stayed at the Steinsburg holiday home for a few days in November 2021 for a family reunion. The house is wonderfully secluded in the middle of nature. We immediately felt at home. The house is furnished with great attention to detail, there is something to discover in every corner. Every day we had breakfast in the cosy kitchen with the flickering fireplace in the background. We didn't care at all about the rain outside. The house is really well equipped, the kitchen has everything you need and more - it was a pleasure to work and cook in the kitchen
Our daughter immediately made herself comfortable in the playroom and we tried out many games in the evenings - the collection is also really extensive here
The view from the large bedroom is particularly beautiful - you just feel at home here.
We went out into nature every day and explored the forest and Steinsburg. Finally, we paid a visit to the Weingarten pottery in Römhild, many of whose works are also housed in the holiday home. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely come again. Many thanks for this great accommodation

Beautiful holiday home

For our small family reunion, we couldn't have imagined a nicer place to stay than the Steinsburg holiday home. Ideal starting point for extensive hikes. With two super bathrooms and two beautiful fireplaces, it is also possible to spend a very nice time in autumn/winter. We will gladly come back again.

We will come back!

We (2 children, 2 adults) spent a great week in October at the Gundelwein family's house. The house is incredibly cozy. Nothing is missing. And if something is missing, a call is enough and help is provided. The house is beautifully secluded in the middle of the Thuringian nature. It is so quiet that at night you can hear the footsteps of small animals on the roof :) Wonderful. We will definitely come back! Best regards, Mario F.

The comfortable holiday home near Steinsburg offers days of relaxation and rest away from hustle and stress. The house itself is perfectly furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. Upstairs there are three bedrooms with space for a total of seven people. On the ground floor there are two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace room and a game room. The good taste of the owners is reflected in the many little loving details. A morning and an evening terrace offer stay and enjoyment depending on the time of day and position of the sun. The large garden offers various possibilities from hammocks to table tennis. If you prefer deer, foxes and squirrels in the wild to TV and media consumption, this is the right place for you ???

Liebevoll eingerichtete naturnahe familienfreundliche Unterkunft

Wir waren jetzt schon zweimal in dieser traumhaft schönen Haus! Wir sind verliebt in den wunderschönen riesigen Garten, in die perfekt ausgestattete Küche und die ruhige naturnahe Lage! Im Spielzimmer gibt es gleich mehrere Ferngläser, mit denen die Kinder Graureiher und Greifvögel beobachtet haben! Vermieter und Kontaktperson vor Ort herzlich, zuvorkommend und unkompliziert! Und der einzige Nachbar hat die Kinder die Fische in seinem Teich füttern lassen.
Buchen und hinfahren... Abenteuer, Natur und die Auszeit genießen!

perfekt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage am Waldrand

Wir (3 Erwachsene, 2 Jugendliche) haben im Oktober 1 Woche in diesem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Wir machen regelmäßig Urlaub in Ferienhäusern, haben aber selten ein so perfekt ausgestattetes Haus erwischt. Man merkt, dass das Haus auch von den Eigentümern selbst genutzt wird - vom Pizzaschneider bis zum Schuhlöffel ist wirklich alles da, was man braucht.

Die wunderschöne Umgebung lädt zu Wanderungen in den Gleichenbergen und der Umgebung ein. Auch die Tischtennisplatte wurde von uns ausgiebig genutzt. Da man nur im Garten spielen kann, mussten wir damit aber auf die Regenpausen warten. Kleine Bitte: vielleicht kann man zukünftig eine Lösung in den Nebengebäuden finden, damit man auch bei schlechtem Wetter Tischtennis im Trockenen spielen kann.

Das Haus hat keinen TV-Empfang, aber dafür eine umfassende Ausstattung an wirklich schönen Gesellschaftsspielen, Büchern und DVDs. Dank des weitläufigen Grundstückes und des ausreichend großen Ferienhauses, kann man dort mit 5 Personen bequem wohnen, ohne sich gegenseitig auf die Nerven zu gehen.
Da wir auch selbst gekocht haben, ist uns besonders auch die gut ausgestattete Küche in Erinnerung geblieben (ausreichend Geschirr, eine super schnelle Spülmaschine, Gewürze etc.)

Vielen Dank auch an den Vermieter, Herrn Gundelwein. Die Kommunikation verlief absolut problemlos und unkompliziert.

Idylle Pur

Wunderschönes individuelles Ferienhaus in dem es an nichts fehlt.
Wir haben für unseren Kurzurlaub Ruhe gesucht und gefunden. Wer die Natur liebt ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus und der Garten eignen sich hervorragend zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Der Ausblick auf das Dörfchen Haina ist phantastisch.
Die Umgebung ist ideal zum Wandern, aber auch zum Fahrradfahren.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Fahrrad bestens erreichbar.
Wir können das Ferienhaus zu 100% empfehlen.
Herzlichen Dank an den Vermieter. Die Kommunikation war absolut unkompliziert und sehr freundlich.

Erholungsurlaub pur in tollem Ferienhaus

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in dem Ferienhaus, mitten in der Natur, ruhig gelegen aber liebevoll ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Besonders der großzügige Garten mit Grillmöglichkeit die Nähe zu den Gleichbergen mit vielen Wanderwegen und das herrliche Panaroma haben es uns angetan.
Aber auch an kalten regnerischen Tagen und Abenden kommt man am wärmenden Kamin voll auf seine Kosten. Das Haus an sich ist sehr gemütlich, vermittelt eine urige Wärme und den Charme der Abgeschiedenheit ohne auf Komfort verzichten zu müssen. (z.B. Fußbodenheizung in den modern ausgestatteten Bädern)
Die Wege für Besorgungen im Alltag sind kurz, alles was man braucht bekommt man im nah gelegenden Römhild, ca. 15 min mit dem Auto erreichbar.
Was uns auch sehr positiv in Erinnerung bleibt, ist die Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter, sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und herzlich. Auch die Fürsorge des Hausmeisters ist an dieser Stelle zu erwähnen.
Wir möchten uns ganz herzlich für die schöne Zeit bedanken und kommen sehr gerne wieder....

Einfach top!

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, etwa 1,5km vom nächsten Dorf entfernt. Einzige Nachbarn sind Vogel, Rotwild und ab und zu einen Fuchs. Rundum das Haus ist einen großen Garten, in denen unsere Kinder (5 und 6 Jahre) nach Herzenslust spielen und toben konnten.

Das Haus selber ist liebevoll renoviert, und sehr komplett austgestattet. Sowohl in das Haus als auch im Garten und auf die beiden Terassen sind mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Kinder haben sich besonders über den separaten Spielzimmer (auch top ausgestattet!) sehr gefreut.

In der Umgebung (3km) gibt es mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, wie z.B. Lidl und Rewe. Aufslugsziele gibt es auch genug. Etwa 1,5 km entfernt z.B. das urige aber sehr schöne Freibad/Waldbad von Römhild. Da kann mann sogar zu Fuß noch hin. Empfehlenswert is auch einen Spaziergang auf dem kleinen (Steinsburg!) oder großen Gleichberg, oder einen Besuch an sämtliche Museen in der Ubgebung wie z.B. das Schloss Bertholdsburg in Schleusingen oder das Freilandmuseum Fladungen.

Die Betreuung durch Vermieter und Hausmeister ist sehr nett und vorkommend. Bei Fragen sind die stets hilfsbereit.

Erholung pur

Waren zu viert mit drei kleinen Kids dort . Sie haben den grosen Garten geliebt. Ein Bad ist sehr schön renoviert. Das andere ist eher als Zweitbad zu gebrauchen . Das Haus ist richtig rustikal aber sehr schön . Die ein oder andere Ecke hätte sauberer sein können.

Beautiful holiday home in a wonderful location with good facilities, large plot and space for 2 families

We (4 adults, 4 small children) spent a long weekend over Ascension Day in this wonderful holiday home. It is in a quiet location at the foot of the Gleichberge mountains, directly on the edge of the forest, so that you can relax undisturbed on the large property and enjoy the view of the countryside. It is accessible via a service road (approx. 2 kilometres from the next village). We were surprised by the size and versatility of the property. There was a large playground and sunbathing area (football goal, balls, table tennis table, barbecue, campfire area etc. available), lots of seating, two sunny terraces with a large dining table, but also shady trees and colourful flowers and plants.
There was a well-equipped kitchen in the house (crockery, pots and pans and much more available). However, a water filter had to be used to purify the drinking water (available in the kitchen). There was a bathroom with shower, another really nice bathroom with tub(great tiles with sea motives), a cosy light-flooded living room(couch, table, cupboards, fireplace, TV available), a small adjoining or play room with table and chairs as well as shelves full of books, board games and children's games as well as 3 bedrooms upstairs(2 smaller and 1 larger with separate toilet and great window front). The handover took place after individual arrangement punctually and uncomplicatedly. The property is rented out by friendly and committed local residents. The price-performance ratio was very good.
We would recommend the property to others. It is particularly suitable for those seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers, hikers and families.

herrlich ruhig, naturnah und einfach idyllisch

Eine klasse Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für Familien die einfach in der Natur
fern ab vom Haupttourismus etwas entspannen wollen. Wir hatten ein
wunderbar gemütliches Winterwochenende und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es
war besonders kuschelig durch den tollen Kamin, der für uns schon zum
Anzünden vorbereitet war.
Die Lage ist schön ruhig und perfekt für Wanderungen und Spaziergänge.
Ich denke, dass wir dort nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sind.

Idyllisches Ferienhaus

Wirklich ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus in einem ruhigen und erholsamen Örtchen! Wir waren zu 6 in dem Haus und sind gut zurechtgekommen. Es fehlt einem an nichts, das Haus ist super eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. An die Abende am Kamin erinnern wir uns besonders gern zurück. Unsere Kinder konnten sich in Garten so richtig austoben und entdeckten die Tischtennisplatte wieder für sich. An den eingeschränkten Handyempfang gewöhnt man sich, es hat ja auch was für sich.
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Kleiner Gleichberg, Feld, Wald und Bach und mittendrin ein liebevoll gestaltetes Haus, ausgestattet mit wirklich allem was man braucht und dazu ein großer Garten - ideal zum Ruhe tanken, Natur erleben, Wandern, am Kamin sitzen, Seele baumeln lassen... Wir lieben es und kommen immer wieder gern dorthin.
