A beautiful place for a short vacation! The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed, from the toaster to the refrigerator. We enjoyed our time exploring the surroundings and then relaxing in such an inviting space.

A peaceful retreat in the mountains! The location of the accommodation is ideal for hiking enthusiasts, and the living room was a great place to relax at the end of the day. We really enjoyed our time here.

Upon arrival, we had to call a mobile number because they were on vacation; after several attempts, we finally made contact. Instructions to take the key from the key box, no "warm welcome" or "we wish you a nice holiday." The whole week there was a small container at the front door filled with trash from the previous holidaymakers and many plastic bags next to it. Incorrect photos of the cottage. A stench coming from the basement where the washing machine is located. Two of the four chairs on the balcony were broken. The apartment is on the first floor, but it is described as "with garden." You would have to walk with your chairs from the balcony to it, but the grass was literally 30cm high. Everything is poorly maintained and unworthy of Belvilla. My advice is to skip this house, and Belvilla should quickly part ways with it. This critical experience is my first after at least 20 previous reservations with Belvilla that were good!

Am Felsennest house is divided into several apartments. In the part where we were with 4 people. The room was somewhat cramped given the number of persons and somewhat dated. There was no microwave and dishwasher, something quite common nowadays anyway. Shower was lovely however and the balcony. Downstairs does seem better because there is a garden at. The beds were fine. The area is fantastic and there are many excursions in the area for nature lovers who enjoy hiking or beautiful scenery keeps. But also for culture lovers, who can gain your heart's content the history of the 2nd World War to the Eagle's Nest and the Obersalzberg. The house is situated in a quiet area further, and catering is not really within walking distance, this is bike, bus or car anyway needed.

On the first wet day, we went to the Salt Mine, which was great to do as it was inside, especially as it had 2 'slides' which our teenage children enjoyed. On our final day, we went up to Eagle's Nest, which was wonderful with blue sky and sunshine and snow on the ground- the views of the snow-capped mountains were spectacular, and we could see Salzburg and its fortress easily; our 13 yo son also enjoyed making a snowman!
