We had a fantastic stay in this charming apartment in Furtwangen! The balcony was truly a highlight, offering a breathtaking view of the Black Forest. The apartment itself was cozy and well-equipped - everything we needed was within reach, from the dishwasher in the kitchen to the comfortable beds. The location is perfect for summer hiking and winter skiing, with ski lifts just a few minutes' drive away. We even brought our dog, and he loved the space too! I highly recommend it for families or anyone looking to relax in nature.

Although we had paid the apartment (for 4 p) well in advance and received confirmation of this, it appeared to have been rented out to another family. it was late in the evening, high season, and we had to find alternative lodging for 4. We finally managed to find this, at 50 min driving distance (a different location altogether), at a cost of 2 times of what we had paid already. Not sure who is to blame: Belvilla or the apartment owner, but i expect Belvilla to cover the cost and damage we have suffered.

A beautiful place for a relaxing retreat. The apartment had a charming rustic decor and was very comfortable. We appreciated the pet-friendly policy as we brought our dog. The location is peaceful and the nearby restaurants like Zum Hirschen were delicious. Just a few minor maintenance issues, but nothing that ruined our experience.

When we arrived at the appointed time, we found no one. We had to call a phone number and the "hostess" told us she would be there in half an hour. After almost a full hour of waiting we drove into the village to do some shopping; just before closing time. Only three days later did we see/talk to the resident (she lives in the same house) for exactly 1 minute: we had to fill in a form. During the further stay (1 week) no contact, tip or any other form of communication. When loading our luggage again the following Saturday (at 10:00 am checkout time), the son said -apparently- that his mother was "away" for a while but would be back within fifteen minutes to say goodbye. After more than half an hour of waiting we left for our next destination in France. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and the location is fine, but the landlady gets a serious unsatisfactory.

Great spacious apartment, situated nice, quiet and snow with a nice view. In the area is ample opportunity to drive sled. If the ski runs (we have not seen) is the simple slopes at a few hundred meters away. Skiing in Felberg with great potential lies at a distance of half an hour. In the village itself Neukirch that a distant suburb of Furtwangen is not much to do. We have great fun here!

The kitchen has a large corner sofa where you can relax. The bathroom is very spacious with a bath, shower and 2 separate sinks. The welcome from the owner was very friendly and the contact in the rest of the week was very prettig.De beds were made upon our arrival. The 2 bedrooms both have a 2 bed and 1 single bed (a bit on the short side for a person greater than 1.70). In one of the bedrooms also have a high ledikantje.Omdat the house is located, the travel time to sights somewhat longer because many twisty mountain roads to be ridden. In the area is more than enough to do! Our visit to the largest waterfall in Europe: the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen (just over the border in Switzerland) was very worth it! With our departure had quite snowed and we arrived despite our winter tires mountain not. On the advice of a "neighbor" when we have taken the old way (down to the village and immediately right). That went fine.

Enjoyed the beautiful fall colors. You can walk for hours. From the village itself there are beautiful routes that surprised us. Schonwald (10 min drive) we rented bikes one day. That was a beautiful area. We had unfortunately been given no good card but still a nice day. We have visited and Schauinsland with the gondola to 1200 m got to where we could see the tops of the mountains in Switzerland on the lookout. The waterfalls visited by Totnau and Triberg and a walk around the station Triberg (erlebnis route Schwarzwald) made.

When we arrived at the appointed time, we found no one. We had to call a phone number and the "hostess" told us she would be there in half an hour. After almost a full hour of waiting we drove into the village to do some shopping; just before closing time. Only three days later did we see/talk to the resident (she lives in the same house) for exactly 1 minute: we had to fill in a form. During the further stay (1 week) no contact, tip or any other form of communication. When loading our luggage again the following Saturday (at 10:00 am checkout time), the son said -apparently- that his mother was "away" for a while but would be back within fifteen minutes to say goodbye. After more than half an hour of waiting we left for our next destination in France. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and the location is fine, but the landlady gets a serious unsatisfactory.
