The mill has everything you need for a relaxing vacation in the countryside and to cater for yourself.
A Swedish wood stove provides cozy warmth on cool or winter days in the mill, warm water is provided by an electric boiler. The kitchen has a kettle, coffee maker, toaster, stove with oven, cooking utensils and dishes are available for 4 people. The bedrooms are located in the attic, divided into 2 rooms.

The mill is located at the edge of the forest on our organic farm, Schwoererhof, in Jostal.
In winter, depending on the snow conditions, you have to walk to the mill.
You don't have mobile phone and Wi-Fi reception in and around the mill.

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

Charcoal for grilling, wood for the stove is available; possibly bring wood briquettes for cold nights.
The cabin must be cleaned by yourself on the day of departure, cleaning utensils, cleaners, and vacuum cleaner are available. All rooms need to be vacuumed, the kitchen and bathroom also need to be mopped, dishes should be cleanly stored in the cabinets, and beds neatly made. Please report any damages immediately to avoid trouble for you and us.
Please separate the trash in an environmentally friendly manner and dispose of it at the designated bins at the top of the yard. You must take any unseparated trash with you.
Always dispose of glass waste yourself.
Important!
Please store your food securely to protect it from mice; occasionally one might stop by. Please also take all the food with you again!

A pearl in nature
We had wonderful days at the mill!
The mill is nestled like a pearl in nature and a brook babbles quietly from the house.
In the morning, you fall out of bed into nature, which is a special treat due to the secluded location.
You can start hiking directly from the mill and the "Schweizer Hof", which is very easy to reach on foot, has very good home-style cooking. Time has somehow stood still there and you feel like you've been transported back to the 80s;-) but it also has charm.
The Faller family is really nice and everything felt very relaxed.
However, we also have to give a few minus points.
The final cleaning includes vacuuming and mopping. However, the mill could do with a spring clean. Many dust threads in the bathroom lamps, some lamps do not work. Kitchen utensils and also the tray in the oven needs cleaning, the baking tray should be replaced urgently(bacon, scratched) The lamp above the dining table would also enjoy a water bath. It's all about the feel-good factor and so much more could be done.
I found the attention to detail in the mill a little lacking.
Also the big stain in the back room on the carpet, should be dealt with urgently!
We can definitely recommend the mill, but with a few compromises.

Pure nature!
We had a great, quiet, beautiful long weekend for two in the cosy mill
The cottage inside as well as outside offers everything you need. We didn't miss anything
Even the cattle stopped by every day. Just great, so close and in the middle of nature.
Thanks to the Faller family, everything went smoothly.
We plan to come again.

Satisfied all round
We stayed at the mill for a long weekend in October 2020 and felt very comfortable.
Wonderfully quiet and just the right place to relax and unwind. The equipment is simple but clean and sufficient and the Faller family was very friendly. We will be very happy to come back.

Super cosy cottage with everything you need!
In the middle of nature, in a nice quiet location!
We liked it so much! We felt very comfortable! We made beautiful hiking tours in the surroundings! Highly recommended!

Great forest cabin!
We (4 adults) had a great time in the cabin. You have everything you need... especially a lot of peace and nature all around. Very idyllic! There are great hiking trails nearby. We will be back.
