We were very kindly received. Fireplace burned alright, cup of coffee finished with apple pie. The Dutch flag was even hoisted. And even our dogs were ready for it. Tasty chew bones and water. The owner, Mr. Herwig, we kindly welcomed and explained how everything worked. The et al. Told the environment. The accommodation was clean and tidy. Lovely beds. Slept well. Shower was a bit cramped, not the cabin but the layout. I think this could not be anything else. And if you love walking and nature, you are excellent here. For fun, you have to drive a bit. And at the time of this year, mid September, there were little terraces open. Even though it was good weather. Think that you need to find more tourist places.

The welcome was great. The owner had made coffee with cake and prepared a nice bottle of wine. The wood stove is really great. The beds are also very good to sleep in. The surroundings are truly beautiful. Endless hiking possibilities. The only downside is the bathroom, which could be a bit more spacious and brighter. The rest is really great and worth repeating.

When we wanted to book an autumn holidays at Belvilla fell Kellerwaldhutte me right away, we wanted to go there. Unfortunately we had a lot of delay in the trip to the cottage. Garden table greeted us the neighbor's cat already when we drove into the driveway. The owner, Mr. Herwig, had been waiting patiently and had all the woodstove stoked nice. We enjoyed the coffee was ready. There was also cake and it tasted good after a trip full of delays and traffic diversions. There was also a bottle of red wine ready in the fridge was a bottle of mineral water cool. Mr. Herwig has further explained everything about the house and tells a lot about the area. What a reception. That has never been our overkomen.Het cottage is cozy and does not look like most holiday homes. It seems as if the occupants are on holiday and we look after the house, including the neighbor's cat. It's messy cozy inside and we felt very at home there right away. The nice TV with satellite receiver, we have only an hour had to. We listened to the radio all week, HR1. Cozy radio with information and news from Hesse. Rock solid radio without interminable drivel, as we are not apparent in the Netherlands
Martina Hendrika Huijzer
It was a nice break it all began with the owner who welcomed us warmly with a bottle of wine and coffee and cake bubble water and chocolates on the pillows on our bed. The detailed explanations of how everything works and what to do. But there is plenty of documentation available in order to zien.De bathroom is not logical and perfect a minus. But hey you can not have everything perfect then you have expensive books. The cottage is quite dark during the day but the evening cozy with the wood stove and lamps. There are quite a few knickknacks you have to love it. The wood for the stove is free this you often have to pay to other owners. It's good to stay outside, you can choose which side of the house you wanted to sit. We have very much seen too many to mention castles, towns, boating on the edersee, copper mine, walks, animal edersee. There is a nice tv and radio transmitter HR1 is a cozy transmitter intermittently on regional traffic and news and weather. Thus, we agreed our next day at the weather forecast .The village has no shops nearest supermarket is 12 km away. Frankenberg is a hypermarket

Very warmly and hospitably received by the owner. Fresh coffee was put by him and proudly served with a piece of cake from the bakery of his son. Received a lot of information on the many attractions in the immediate area and many walking trails which we got to see through leaflets and pictures' s. Not pushy but in a pleasant way, which showed that he is particularly proud of the region where he woont.Zeer helpful (could always call him if there was something) and nothing really was him teveel.Ook the dog was not forgotten and be pampered with a bin full of dog biscuits. Cottage is fully-decorated- more than enough cutlery and cooking utensils (from eggshell to potholders, oven mitts, breadboard to borevloot etc ..) On leaving, he gave us a bottle of wine and chocolates were still in the bedroom for us. His warm welcome made -tesamen with the nice weather for a wonderful holiday week where we met and fully equipped and can look back on with pleasure and certainly for us To repeat more than worth it!

Our holiday in the Kellerwald Hutte is our birth right. arrival had coffee ready with a nice piece of cake and we got Mr.. Herwig comprehensive information about the area. The cottage is a bit on the dark side of inside but with all amenities. You can fine sit outside on the different terraces in the garden. We also have a nice walk with our two dogs in the beautiful surroundings. s evening we had the wood stove which was also very nice. One week is too short to really explore the area so we will definitely go back in this lovely cottage !!

Dear host (Harry) who awaits you with coffee and cake and gives a detailed explanation about how everything works regarding the house and what there is to do in the region. The village is very quiet and is close to the forest. Ideal for walkers with pets. Vast grasslands interspersed with forests dominate this area. The surrounding neighbors are friendly and always up for a chat. There is plenty to do within a 20-minute drive around the location, especially around the Edersee. Cycling, canoeing, boat hire and of course hiking. Nearest place for shopping, etc. is Bad Wildungen, here are the more extensive retail stores and a beautiful indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The larger city of Kassel is 50 minutes away. The location itself has a spacious garden and is fully equipped except for a washing machine. Contact with the owner is good. All in all a great location for a quiet holiday.

Reception by the owner was great, the coffee was ready upon arrival and was served with a piece of cake, even for the dog, there were chunks. In the vicinity are many nice towns and plenty of hiking opportunities. All in all a nice holiday week

Again a lovely stay at the Kellerwaldhutte, coffee, apple pie a log burning stove and a friendly host. It was also on day 2 some goodies delivered by a baker. It was top. Let's hope that the warm water will also encourage modern but that's peanuts compared to the entire stay.
