The Ederbergland holiday region is located in the middle of Germany, on the edge of the Sauerland, adjacent to the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. There are numerous opportunities for excursions into the wider area. Old towns worth seeing, the Eder, the university town of Marburg, the spa town of Bad Wildungen, the beautiful Edersee with Waldeck Castle, etc. Winter sports fans can quickly reach Winterberg or Willingen with its numerous winter sports offerings from the Ederbergland.
Willersdorf is a district of Frankenberg (Eder) in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in Hesse. The place is in the Ederbergland holiday region, on the edge of the Burgwald. The highest mountain in the Burgwald Knebelsrod (443 m) is only 15 minutes away (on foot). Willersdorf was first mentioned in 1294. The town itself is between 357 and 390 m high and has around 650 inhabitants.

We had a really great vacation. The apartment was super clean, bright and modern with almost everything you need as a family. After a short request for a baby bed, it was ready upon arrival. The atmosphere is calm and totally friendly. The surroundings are beautiful and there is a lot to experience for the children. We will come back in any case.

We greatly enjoyed the week in Willersdorff. The cottage was beautiful, very clean and fully equipped. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Only downside is the distance to eg Winterberg. For most children you should consider about 30 to 40 minutes in the car. However, the environment in Willersdorff is so beautiful that we did not have the drive very far. The house with new sauna there also was so comfortable that we could entertain us. More than in the vicinity of the house

We have used the house during the Christmas season of 2015. Nice, full, well-equipped accommodation decorated for Christmas. Nothing to criticize! And what was absolutely perfect, the service provided by the landlord. One of our car 's had a flat tire that could not be made. The landlord came up with a list of available bands in the area for the car in and arranged an appointment with the garage. Right after Christmas, we could go. Very nice regularly !! You can ask him everything. We want to go back again.

From the beautiful home, modern and complete, you drive 45 minutes to all the sites around the Edersee. The route is beautiful country with beautiful villages. Personally, I love the winding roads through the woods and corn fields.The house is really superb, everything is in it and is in good condition, spacious and high ceilings. The garden is really super and playground fun for the kids. It is located in the village and walk 2 minutes out of the village. The bakery is an 8-minute drive just like a neighborhood grocery store. The larger town is 15 minutes away with all faciliteiten.De host is very helpful and if you still miss something, he arranges that right. We had two lovely quiet weeks where we've been. Around Christmas and New Years we have spent our holidays in one of the houses. (2013) The house is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. In the kitchen is more than adequate kitchen. The beds are very good, plenty of closet space. There are plenty of towels and demand more. The bathroom is spacious and with lovely walk in shower and bath with low entry. S "in the morning you can get fresh sandwiches made to order, which can be hung. By the owner to the front door Everything is decorated with care and love, also the beautiful garden. For lovers there is also Dutch television. The owner leaves you alone but if you need him he is there. Our property was brought into Christmas atmosphere, very attentive. Nearby is plenty to do. plenty of restaurants nearby and nice walking areas. It is very quiet and you have no one burden. Silvia and Erik, we will certainly return to you. guys getting us 4 stars! Cottage fully equipped. Kept garden, shared with guests from the other house. Children can play in the garden. The pond is nicely landscaped. Many hiking and fietsmigelijkheden. Pleasant town with restaurants and shopping in nearby. Suitable for family holidays.
