We arrived late and everything was prepared for us, even the children's beds were made. Every morning we enjoyed the balcony with the great view while drinking coffee. The hikes in the nearby forest were great and made our stay very active.

After a long period of bad weather and cold, we left from Belgian coast with beautiful sunny weather, direction germany (Sauerland), where it arrived cold and rainy weather was.De next day the sun shone and this all week long. We have spent a week in July 2016 and we are very satisfied. I was looking for a house with a yard for my two dogs. One of the dogs running away so I had to have a garden with a fence. This home has it. Completely fenced, no hole to be found in the fence (I was scared hahaha!). Dogs have had a lot of fun in the garden. And we. The environment is very beautiful, lots of greenery and the Edersee is close (or by car, without a car you can not do anything here). The fenced yard is large and the gate is high. For us this was very useful because we have large dogs. The location of the cottage is fantastic, on the outskirts of the village you can look out into the garden over the fields and into the mountains and forests. Regardless of the walks are lovely and well marked, you can also see many villages and towns. Recommendations are Marburg, Korbach, Waldeck and Frankenberg.
