There are numerous hiking and cycling trails to explore the surrounding medieval towns and rivers. You can have a great time swimming, cross-country skiing, and visiting the amusement parks. Enjoy a day trips to Bad Pyrmont and Detmold. The bird park and climbing park at Detmold is a must-visit. Excellent restaurants are available at 500 m and the supermarket is at 1 km.
The home is comfortable with parking and heating. There are a cozy living room and a sitting room with bar and billiards. Kids can use the cot and high chair. Enjoy the sun from the terrace or furnished garden while preparing the barbecue. 3 pets are allowed at 3/Pet/Night.

Everything was great! We were here for the second year now and a lot of effort is put into the house, the contact is always very friendly, the rooms are clean and the lower area is just great! The large kitchen is perfect for a larger group!

Uncomplicated key reception by door safe, early arrival was easily possible. The house is a former café with large kitchen, large lounges and guest toilets on the ground floor and on the 1st floor with 6 bedrooms. The bedrooms all have a double bed, a separate bathroom with toilet and shower, the two largest rooms each have a bunk bed and a bath in the bathroom. The lounges on the ground floor have two TVs, a pool table and a football table for entertainment. Everything is generous and perfectly equipped with seating. This also applies to the covered terrace. Plenty of seating and a ready-made gas grill with gas bottles are available. The house is located in a very quiet area, and it is also appealed to the tenants to moderate the volume, quite rightly, because directly opposite is a hospice. For people in groups of up to 12 people looking for peaceful rest, this house is ideal. On arrival everything was very clean, a friendly contact person in case of problems presented a short time later, which then actually contacted for a lack of clarity After we apparently left everything to the satisfaction of the landlord, the deposit came back unsolicited.

The nearby excursion restaurant Schellental was unfortunately closed due to company holidays.
But you can't always have everything.

Very nice house with hotel feeling. Nice reception and briefing. In the kitchen there is plenty of everything you need. Although the room windows face the street, peaceful nights are spent in comfortable beds. We (friends hiking couples) were able to get on hiking routes directly at various points. We felt very comfortable in the house and can imagine a repeat. Thanks to Mrs. Höller who spiced up the house with Dutch flair.

The house is getting very old but everything was clean and in order. The rooms are very small. The garden is not fenced in on the street and was a bit relaxed for us with our dog and small children. The garbage cans are much too small for so many people. Otherwise, despite everything, we had a good time in Bad Pyrmont and Mrs. Höller The manager was very nice and helpful.

In joyful anticipation, we have booked the holiday home in Bad Pyrmont. It was presented on the internet as a freestanding house. The photos show that the house really stands alone. Unfortunately, this is not the case. It is in the middle of a neighborhood and not even 50 meters away there is a mortuary. The marking allowed for party and events is therefore very inappropriate and almost outrageous. You book a party house (has nice weather and sits outside) and has a clear conscience with every loud laugh, because you do not want to disturb the mourners and dying people. I think, such an info is to be given before. We would never have booked the house in this case. We felt very restricted. In the evening, despite the nice weather, we went inside, so that we could at least listen to music. Since the windows are very old, the insulation is very bad, so that outside normal talk is heard. To make matters worse, we should pay a Billiardqueue, which was previously prepared only with tape. We should also have broken a door. Unfortunately, we did not inspect the landlord before taking over the house. I can only recommend this for the following groups. The house itself is satisfactory and clean. I can only recommend groups that only want to talk very quietly.

Great, spacious house located directly on the forest. The room, kitchen and dining area of the former café are great. There is a lot available to pass the time (pool billiards, dart board, table football, TVs, WiFi). And there are plenty of hiking opportunities right outside the door. We really enjoyed our time in Löwensen and would be happy to come back.
