This boathouse is located in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District in the town of Sternberg am See. The city is directly surrounded by about 90 lakes. The free public bathing area at Sternberger See is approx. 300 m away and can be reached via a hiking trail along the lake. It is 74 km to the Baltic Sea beach in Kühlungsborn and 50 km to the island of Poel. Your accommodation is an ideal starting point for beautiful excursions and day trips, for example to the Barlach town of Güstrow (27 km) or to the Hanseatic city of Wismar (41 km).
The boathouse can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. The house has 1 cozy living room with integrated kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower and toilet on the ground floor. A small staircase leads to the upper floor. There is a sleeping loft here.
Children get their money's worth here, as do their parents or grandparents. In the midst of the Mecklenburg Lake District you can expect beautiful nature and an architecturally beautiful, historically interesting and yet modern small town.
The use of the private bathing jetty and the rowing boat are free.

We spent our vacation at Lake Sternberger in a very nice, small fishing house. The boathouse is very tastefully decorated. The rowing boat is very good for fishing. The landlord couple is very nice and gives tips on fishing. We spent a very quiet and relaxing time in the boathouse.
