This was the second week of a 2-week holiday. The first week was in Holland, the second in Belgium. The house was a good base from which to visit Ghent, Brugges and Ypres.

The apartment is spacious and the garden is beautiful. Beside the house is a bakery that sells delicious things. We have the Flemish Ardennes and Flanders Fields explored. We also have city walks made in Oudenaarde, Kortrijk, Furnes and Poperingen.In Zingem are a couple of supermarkets. Especially Delhaize has an extensive range.

We spent wonderful days in Flanders, cycled and walked a lot and have enjoyed at windmills, clean village, small streams and spring landscape. And the weather was like in a picture book - just sun and blue sky! Last but not least to our well-being, the very loving and originally furnished apartment has helped - it could not have been better! Our landlords were friendly, helpful and - just like us - interested in art. We will definitely be back again. Haartelijk thanks!

We were warmly welcomed and received a clear explanation about the accommodation. The holiday home was spacious and very comfortable for 2 people. Very nice was the large and beautiful garden, with 2 terra possibilities. The immediate surroundings were not special, but because we had cycled along, we made interesting and nice cycling routes. There were also beautiful cities in the area to visit.

Very friendly and helpful owner. "t Margrietje is a neat house, fully equipped. All the trimmings and even more. There is very little to do in the immediate vicinity (the bakery 2 houses further has closed its doors for good) Don't worry, there is plenty to do within a few kilometers (Ghent, Deinze, Oudenaarde, etc...) So, you have plenty of choice.

We especially emphasize what has been said: "t Margrietje is a very nice and spacious house, the hosts charming and the hostess a sweetheart! Nice area (rolling hills), many culture around (cities). Location close to railway station, post office, bakery and good frying (useful when arriving on Friday). a 10 minute walk a well stocked supermarket, a little further still. Thanks to the tips of the hostess and the abundant documentation on the environment, we could all the days of our holiday good plans and everything to do something. Zingem itself is not spectacular place, but you taste it well the atmosphere of everyday life in Belgium, which is also an added value. Overall: a fun, enjoyable holiday in lovely, warm people! We have walked and cycled along the Lys, in 't Ename at Oudenaarde. Unfortunately, along the Lys many huge houses built, so the ancient landscape as painted by artists Latemse has virtually disappeared.

An all-inclusive welcome and a detailed explanation of all possible excursions were the start of a great week. A well-kept apartment with free access to the large garden. We enjoyed. A good base for Ghent which is easily reached by train (around the corner station) (20 min). Nice hiking opportunities nearby.

Warmly received. Very nice spotless accommodation with all the trimmings, even in the fridge there were several drinks. Nice bed and nice bathroom. The garden with terrace is also a picture. There is not much to experience in Zingem itself, but it is the perfect base to discover the area. Ghent, Oudenaarde, Ninove, Brussels, Aalst and Bruges are not far away. The station is around the corner. I really enjoyed myself.

Very friendly welcome by the host. Everything necessary (and a lot more) was there. Very nice garden with several nice seating areas. And of course the super sweet cat, who regularly comes to keep you company on the terrace or in the garden. Very nice environment: if you choose you can choose the heavier work (Tour of Flanders mountains) or flat rides in the Scheldt and / or Leie Valley

For the tour of the Tour of Flanders, we have two nights slept in 't Margrietje. We were warmly received and also during the stay were the owners very helpful and nice. We could park our bikes in the hall the next morning on the road proceed. The kitchen, bath room and bedrooms are in excellent quality. Kitchenware were present and worked fine. I was particularly pleased with the accommodations when we tired but came back from the tour :)
