De Reus van Horebeke is a restored windmill from 1816. The interior is sober and quiet, but with all modern amenities and a well-equipped kitchen. Families will have a wonderful time here! Pets are also allowed on holiday.

Horebeke is known for its panoramic views, extensive meadows, a number of wind and water mills, but also for the Geuzenhoek (Korsele) with its Protestant community and the old cemetery. The 150-year-old protected weeping beech with a circumference of 5 m and a memorial stone of William I are well worth a walk. In Oudenaarde you can go to the town hall or the MOU. Bicycles can be arranged.

The mill has a garden of 1300 m², completely protected by a hedge. There is parking space for 3 cars and bicycles can also be stored safely here. There is a terrace with a barbecue where you can end the day with a glass of wine.

Very nice uncomplicated hostess. A great living object with a lot of garden. Many places to reach within 45-60 minutes. The only downside is the basic cleanliness at the object.

La casita del pastor has everything you expect from a holiday! Plenty of room, the kitchen tools in order, pool, ... The house is located is a quiet village where goatherds living and care for their animals. You can therefore also be effective in a traffic jam coming ... A goat file. -) Ideal if you are looking for peace and privacy, but also definate to do from there to Granada, Seville tours, Ronda .... Owners are very friendly and helpful. In Antequera, 15 km, you find verschiilende supermercados. A tip of the house is situated on a steep slope so best to rent a 4x4 to get to the housing. In a smooth way

Charming mill with a nice garden. Quietly located in the fields and a few kilometers from shops, chips, bakery etc ... Not really suitable for young children due to the steep stairs. There are two floors where you can sleep, there are no doors in between, so the whole is quite noisy.

Delicious cycling had in the Flemish Ardennes. We have a large part of the Tour of Flanders cycling. The giant Horebeke was a great location for this. We were warmly received. The dog was even a big bone ready. In the shed we could lose our bikes. To sleep in the upper part to come you must be agile, because it is what krap.Draadloos internet was fine, and the kitchen had all gemakken.Molen was wonderfully warm in this cold part of the jaar.Al with been a very friendly owner and good stay.

Unique base to discover this fantastically beautiful region. Very nice with the children, sleeping between the old wooden wheels of the mill. Due to the strict Corona standards, a personal welcome was impossible, but nevertheless, the lovely hostess Diane made every effort to receive us well and "personally"! Polled two days in advance to our needs, heating was on well in time, a crate of local beer was cold outside and a phone call after arrival to ask if everything was okay.

We stayed in the mill for 3 weeks and had a wonderful time. The owner Diana was just gorgeous and ever so helpful! The mill was clean and tidy and the grounds were very well kept. It was very quiet and extremely private. The only downsize was the dog next door but my sons soon became very friendly with her so in the end it was not an issue. I would recommend the mill to friends and family for sure.

We can not say that Diana has received us more than fine. There was even a crate of local beers ready to try out. Diana has also provided us with several tips beforehand by e-mail. Very nice and thank you Diana! The accommodation is what you can expect. Really an old mill with a unit under construction with kitchen and laundry facility. There were some minor defects here and there, but that did not hurt us anymore.

The accommodation is an original windmill with some of its "gears" inside. A mill ladder, to access the rooms, not practical, of course. The services are of quality. The garden, rather natural, is very pleasant. Superb walks in the nearby area. Some visits possible, however, be aware that many visits can only be done on weekends.

We do not speak Dutch, but we have always managed to communicate, as people often speak French.

The mill and garden are special! Although it is a little tedious to live as a family on three levels with as narrow staircases, but it was still an experience! The garden is large and wildly romantic and the location is very quiet! We have taken day trips from here to Ghent, Bruges, Brussels and Waterloo. Almost every evening we sat in the garden and enjoyed the atmosphere (here it is daylight until 22.00 clock!). The only thing that would be in need of improvement is the cleanliness of the mill. Because we had to refit a little!

We were warmly welcomed, there was already coffee ready and the dogs were even allowed to lie on the couch. We felt right hugely welcome. The mill is beautifully surrounded by meadows. Now we were in the middle of the corn. The garden was large and beautiful. A great location to explore. Belgium beautiful landscapes enjoyable. Close to Ghent which is certainly worth a visit.
