Nice cottage. Too bad it wasn't cleaned properly. Serious dust flakes in the bedrooms upstairs. Also Just not enough space around the bed for wheelchair/walker users. Obliged to pay for sheet package, but the beds were not made, then I might as well bring my own material. The manual for the TV was missing. We had a warm, sunny and very nice stay.

Overall a solid choice for a beach holiday, The location is convenient, Ostend is just a short drive away, The house was clean and comfortable, although I wished there were more kitchen utensils, Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time there.

Cottage is simply furnished, but equipped with everything. Houses are close together so little privacy. The garden is also very small and is completely paved. The sea is within walking distance.

When we arrived and got into our holiday home, the first thing we noticed was that there was a socket hanging out of the wall in the living room (danger for dogs and children). We also noticed that there were cobwebs everywhere in the corners. Here we were for the first time at the reception. The socket was properly installed a day later, we had to remove the cobwebs ourselves. We also look at a large construction site with rubble. Noise can be heard in the morning hours from dredging. When we wanted to take a shower, the water didn't drain, here the drain was clogged with a lot of hair. Here we are for the second time at the reception, a craftsman came promptly. When we wanted to sit down on the couch in the evening, we realized that one of the previous tenants must have let his dog or child pee on the couch because of the unpleasant smell of urine. Here we first tried to get rid of the stench ourselves with Febreze, unfortunately without success, even the blankets that we put on the couch took on the smell of urine after a short time. So far nothing has happened here. Furthermore, the vacuum cleaner bag has been full since day one, after asking for a bag we were told that this will soon be put in the house, means for us that we are tied to the house until the vacuum cleaner bag is not there, as we have a dog, who also stays alone. Otherwise, the house is well divided and nicely furnished. But with the defects, cleanliness and the view of the construction site, the price-performance ratio was not justified. And it was quite disappointing that with a "new" park such defects in the houses were not remedied and properly cleaned before a guest moved in. We don't know that from other holiday parks!

Beautiful house with all the trimmings ... nice that you can enter the park immediately upon arrival and into the house with the code sent. A bit of a shame about the rather gruff reaction of Breeduyn's manager, mr. Vincent Vandenbussche, who thought the payment by credit card was too expensive for him in terms of costs and he also muttered, I quote: " "it's the end of the month so that makes no difference to you, it will still be deducted from your account" This made me feel uncomfortable and put a damper on the further pleasant stay.Perhaps consider employing a more suitable, friendly receptionist at the desk...

The fisherman's cottage met our expectations. One drawback is that it is a house for six people, but there were only 4 coffee cups, no plates or dessert plates. After every meal you were obliged to always do the dishes so that everything was ready for the next meal. In addition, there was an old furniture (cupboard) in the living room with shelves that did not stay in place. It was always necessary to be careful to ensure that the planks did not fall down. This happened once in which four drinking glasses were killed. We then bought four new glasses. Despite this shortcoming, it was a nice stay, also thanks to the radiant sun.

There were some defects, such as a cracked window, no hot water (too little pressure), a broken spatula, as well as here and there as if things had been pulled out of the wall and also spots on the floor in the bathroom. The bathroom also smelled like vinegar, presumably for cleaning.

Hello! Upon arrival, the upholstery was covered with dog or cat hair, the expansion joints on almost all walls were open. There was neither a dustpan nor a hand brush or a squeegee for the shower. Two German TV channels are not great in 2022 either. For an additional parking space they wanted double the fee as for the public one in front of the property. It was not possible to reserve a table in a Belgian restaurant in Bredene at the time we were there, so we drove to De Haan and got a table there without a problem You can save yourself the coupon with 125 €. We were in Bredene more than 40 years ago, but what we were offered this time breaks all chains at this rental price.

The holiday home was very nice. Quietly located and about 1.5 km from the beach. It was mostly clean. A few small things were missing, e.g., a mat inside, towel hooks/rod in the bathroom, a shelf in the shower. However, what was not so nice was that you couldn't regulate the heating yourself. We were there in early October; on the first and second days, the heating was still warm, but for the last three days, it remained cold. 21 degrees in the evening on the sofa is quite uncomfortable, and in the morning at breakfast as well. There was no bakery nearby.
