Get closer to the natural beauty of the place by hiking, cycling, or mountain biking. On the way there is a pint in Ellezelles with its brewery Quinene to try. Cities like Geraardsbergen at 10 km, Oudenaarde at 15 km, and Ath at 15 km are great to visit. Try the excellent food from the restaurant at 3 km. The supermarket at 3 km is nearby for shopping.

we were there over the Christmas holiday and the cottage was very cozy, tastefully furnished and located in a beautiful and peaceful omgeving.alleen remained in a fairly cold and lost not properly warmed up (however the heater was high). So in our opinion more suitable and less suitable as a summer house in the winter.

With two teenagers aged 13 and our daughter was 7 to do it really well. Nice house, with all the necessities. We expected no pool, but it was there. Even heated pool! Excellent welcome, very friendly owner, with a good bottle of wine on the table. The accommodation is not luxurious but perfect for a successful stay. If you like the calm, the place is perfect.

The area was beautiful and wonderfully quiet. The owner was always approachable if anything was needed. As mentioned in another review, the house was really cold and drafty. We are outdoors people and used to something, but this lost in comfort and that is a shame. The cleaning could also be better. The cottage was not dirty but you could not call it really clean.
