In the advertisement, the road to the cottage was not described. The road is very steep and almost impossible to drive up with a normal car. Cleaning costs were charged, however, the house was dirty, mattresses, the kitchen was very dirty. The oven smelled of fish and was covered in oil. The place is nice, but the condition of the cottage is old and not well maintained.

No one present, key on the door inside, sat for half an hour calling, no contact, so went inside and that's how we left everything with the key on the door. The whole weekend no one seen or heard, so took photos everywhere to avoid being caught off guard. No wood stove, no gas stove, but 3 electric heaters to warm up, luckily the weekend wasn't cold, 6 to 9 degrees. On to the next chalet, greetings Alain.

Do not book this location! It is a heavily misleading advertisement. The chalet is very outdated and in poor condition. The photos are from a long time ago and taken with a wide-angle lens. The path to the cottage is practically impassable for cars. My car could not get there, then you walk 10 minutes uphill... DO NOT DO IT!

Do not rent this house! On arrival, the house actually needed a renovation. Loose lamps, electrical wires from the wall, a broken bath screen, a poorly draining toilet. A barn that is actually about to collapse. The cottage was also barely cleaned. Junk and equipment was scattered here and there. In everything it turned out to be heavily dated. Communication with the owner was difficult. In the meantime I have contacted Belvilla: this is not a house that they would like to have in their file.

We certainly have no problem with basic accommodation, it really doesn't have to be luxurious. But this is a shabby chalet with overdue maintenance (exterior, porch, shed on the verge of collapse). Faded glory, not Belvilla-worthy.Toilet which continues to run after flushing (has been mentioned for years in the reviews, we see now!), broken or shabby lighting in the kitchen, very bad sagging couch, shower screen creaky. Unfortunately, our dog caught fleas in no time (she really didn't have any beforehand, she gets anti-flea treatment every 4 weeks). We ourselves were covered with itchy bumps all week, which we mainly got at night: we have a strong suspicion that it was caused by bed bugs :( We went home the day before and took it for sure: our suitcases outside unpacked on the sidewalk, undressed ourselves and everything thoroughly washed and cleaned.The Ardennes were nice, the beach of Maboge is also a 10-minute walk away.But rather in another house.

WHAT A CRACK!! We have cut short our holiday early because it was just too dirty. Mold in the bathroom (entire wall above bath tap) Dirty toilet on arrival Dirty bathroom Dirty kitchen Dust wires on ceiling and in corners Dirty beds one with a mismatched mattress-Leakage gas connection outside because external gas bottles were connected to the empty gas tank with expired gas hoses-The balustrade is rotten and slippery from the moss-Canopy is really on the verge of collapsing -Shed completely rotten-There is a freezer where the thawed ice cubes are still in there and the mold is in its heyday -Washing machine was in the shed, this one too on foot to behold -Radio not found -The whole house was damp -Glass wool swirls around -When using a tap, the sewage air comes out house in pulling-Saggy bankIn short, wasted days and money!!!Our old on new is just ruined!!!

The location is very nice and cozy but the bathroom urgently needs a refurbishment (toilet continues to run, large damp spots on the bath) After showering there is a damp smell which is not so pleasant and the bath is a bit loose when you are in it The beds are also very hard to sleep on which is not so nice for someone with a sore back. For the rest it was a nice quiet holiday for our family

A Chalet in a beautiful spot in the Ardennes. Chalet only needs a lot of maintenance and a good cleaning Have cleaned the bathroom and toilet before we started using it. Everything grubby. Power falls out every now and then you have to go outside to switch on the earth leakage circuit breaker. Heater cannot be set to cremate or ice cold. But despite all this, we have a great time beautiful surroundings snow. Awesome

Cottage was idd bit dated ... lots of insects inside of which you did not even know they existed.Arrival was strange ... we have been in traffic for almost 4 hours.Skey person called .. and you "smst that we later came .. No reaction. Arrived at the cottage ... no one present. Fortunately after a while an SMS "you had the key in the barn hung.No bedding available ... was indicated that bath and kitchen linen had to mee.Dus That was the one thingetje.Aa storm was all the power at the cottage ... we call again .. No reaction ... Fortunately after a half hour an SMS of what to do. Last day ... also bad weather .. .. lightning struck ... again no power.With the result that the alarm was off.We had to leave at 10.00 ... that was arranged ... at 08.45..3 cleaners at the door.We slept ... who started there a lot on the windows, doors and walls to ram.Not normal.Well well we were awake.Beetje strange way .. but goed.Verder a lot of sign to the house ... all the way in the back part of the garden.Despite everything ... had a great stay of a week.

We have spent two weeks in August 2012 in the cottage and there is a very nice holiday sleep.The path to the little house was every time with the car quite an experience. So steep that skidded the front wheels of the car occasionally. But it was to do and through the steep path we had a fantastic place for the cottage. Limits to the forest and a fire pit. Our children could enjoy themselves to their heart. We also regularly went swimming in the river in the village. Well within walking distance. At the cottage we had some remarks. The cushions of the beds were dirty and worn. The outdoor seating was a mess old junk and the woodwork of the railing was rotten. The toilet seat was still at a hinge, but fortunately there was a new set that we have put on themselves. Also had the previous occupants wrong garbage bags used. Who takes the garbage collector does not it. We have this sagging over paid in three garbage bags of good maboge vuilnisdienst.Verder there was an awful lot of rubbish on the ground around the house going. The first day we have collected a bag full here. The empty case of beer we only let staan.Al in the garden in all, we were here awfully nice in a beautiful place with great weather.

Dominant, peaceful, free, spacious living room / common area, centrally in Ardennes with many opportunities for hiking, cycling and canoeing. Very nice setting for a weekend full holiday feeling. Kitchen, electricity moderate and it is used to access (debris, holes, steep) to the drive home. Once there, you forget that quickly. Next advise guests to the path further up to walk for a view that is very worthwhile.

We have an excellent week in Maboge. It is an oasis of tranquility. The chalet was very nice gelegen.Een beautiful area also. Maboge itself is a very quiet village. There is a plague in Maboge itself, which is blessed with good weather. You can swim in the ourthe and for the children there is a playground. Beautiful walks can make in the area. The cottage was poorly maintained, shabby and dirty. The (substantial) electricity contribution of 30 cents per kwh who have stood in the contract appeared to be a flat fee of 20 Euro. When the stove it stopped the owners came only after insisting look. They spoke no english was like in the description. The lighting is poor in the cottage too small to read, eg.. All in all, an environment to look back, but that does not apply to the bungalow!

We ourselves were covered with itchy bumps all week, which we mainly got at night: we have a strong suspicion that it was caused by bed bugs :( We went home the day before and took it for sure: our suitcases outside unpacked on the sidewalk, undressed ourselves and everything thoroughly washed and cleaned.The Ardennes were nice, the beach of Maboge is also a 10-minute walk away.But rather in another house.

WHAT A CRACK!! We have cut short our holiday early because it was just too dirty. Mold in the bathroom (entire wall above bath tap) Dirty toilet on arrival Dirty bathroom Dirty kitchen Dust wires on ceiling and in corners Dirty beds one with a mismatched mattress-Leakage gas connection outside because external gas bottles were connected to the empty gas tank with expired gas hoses-The balustrade is rotten and slippery from the moss-Canopy is really on the verge of collapsing -Shed completely rotten-There is a freezer where the thawed ice cubes are still in there and the mold is in its heyday -Washing machine was in the shed, this one too on foot to behold -Radio not found -The whole house was damp -Glass wool swirls around -When using a tap, the sewage air comes out house in pulling-Saggy bankIn short, wasted days and money!!!Our old on new is just ruined!!!

The location is very nice and cozy but the bathroom urgently needs a refurbishment (toilet continues to run, large damp spots on the bath) After showering there is a damp smell which is not so pleasant and the bath is a bit loose when you are in it The beds are also very hard to sleep on which is not so nice for someone with a sore back. For the rest it was a nice quiet holiday for our family

Beautiful walks can make in the area. The cottage was poorly maintained, shabby and dirty. The (substantial) electricity contribution of 30 cents per kwh who have stood in the contract appeared to be a flat fee of 20 Euro. When the stove it stopped the owners came only after insisting look. They spoke no english was like in the description. The lighting is poor in the cottage too small to read, eg.. All in all, an environment to look back, but that does not apply to the bungalow!

The place is lovely, the views stunning and the rest is saved. Forest nearby, friendly people. Close to La Roche. Decoration is sober and the driveway to the house from the street up the hill is disastrous. But it was still a lovely place.

We have spent two weeks in August 2012 in the cottage and there is a very nice holiday sleep.The path to the little house was every time with the car quite an experience. So steep that skidded the front wheels of the car occasionally. But it was to do and through the steep path we had a fantastic place for the cottage. Limits to the forest and a fire pit. Our children could enjoy themselves to their heart. We also regularly went swimming in the river in the village. Well within walking distance. At the cottage we had some remarks. The cushions of the beds were dirty and worn. The outdoor seating was a mess old junk and the woodwork of the railing was rotten. The toilet seat was still at a hinge, but fortunately there was a new set that we have put on themselves. Also had the previous occupants wrong garbage bags used. Who takes the garbage collector does not it. We have this sagging over paid in three garbage bags of good maboge vuilnisdienst.Verder there was an awful lot of rubbish on the ground around the house going. The first day we have collected a bag full here. The empty case of beer we only let staan.Al in the garden in all, we were here awfully nice in a beautiful place with great weather.

Dominant, peaceful, free, spacious living room / common area, centrally in Ardennes with many opportunities for hiking, cycling and canoeing. Very nice setting for a weekend full holiday feeling. Kitchen, electricity moderate and it is used to access (debris, holes, steep) to the drive home. Once there, you forget that quickly. Next advise guests to the path further up to walk for a view that is very worthwhile.

The location of the cottage was lovely. Peace and quiet in nature. It is unfortunate that the maintenance of the house was not so good. If you are tall, this house is less suitable, the doorways are very laag.De washing machine is only a small washer that fell tegen.Wij will not rent this house again.

The cottage was beautiful in nature, quite difficult to find because there is no house number is present. House cozy but very noisy, not clean utensils and many power outages. Well good beds, good heating and quiet gelegen.adkamer ok. Caretaker speaks only French, so if you do not speak a little of the language is a bit lastig.Wel very aware that there were two bottles of mulled wine ready to usher had a nice week despite the bad weather the New Year. Pizzeria la stradella La Roche is also highly recommend the war museum in this place.

We have an excellent week in Maboge. It is an oasis of tranquility. The chalet was very nice gelegen.Een beautiful area also. Maboge itself is a very quiet village. There is a plague in Maboge itself, which is blessed with good weather. You can swim in the ourthe and for the children there is a playground. Maboge is not far from La Roche and there is so much going on. Kayaking, rafting, quad, moutinbike, ... Our holiday was great!! Becarren Family-Vergote Passchendaele
